Here is one thing I am certain about: A President Mitt Romney would never have bowed to anyone -- not to Saudi King Abdullah, not to Japanese Emperor Akihito.
Here's another thing: A President Romney would not have traveled around the world badmouthing his country and making apologies for it.
Here's a third: A President Romney would never have ordered the closing of the prison at Guantanamo Bay or lowered the American flag in Haiti.

The Utah Olympic bailout, one of the first bailouts of useless, tax subsidised, crony( in this case Mormon ) event for Mitt. Later he went on to the proposed bailout of Detroit, in the Michigan primaires. So, he was ahead of Bush/Obama.

ROMNEYCARE IS A PROVEN FINANCIAL FAILURE

Mass. State Treasurer Timothy P. Cahill (I): RomneyCARE
is bankrupting Massachusetts and will do the same nationally.
"Romney admitted ... that about half of the real costs of "extending
coverage to the uninsured... is covered by federal tax dollars.
Mr. Romney's RomneyCARE is doing what entitlements do: crowding
out private insurers, compounding the cost explosion, walking the state toward rationing.
From CATO (the whole article is worthwhile): "Of the 133,000 people who have signed up for insurance since the plan was
implemented, slightly more than half have received totally free coverage."

Drama? Come now. The sky high expectations of Palin will be her downfall. I predict she starts out like Rudy as the frontrunner and fades over many months. Pawlenty is looking more and more likely as a strong dark horse. Otherwise Romney or Huck have to be favored.

Gary Johnson.
Romney has a bad track record on government healthcare and is from Massachusetts, for Pete's sake!
What are you people thinking?

Mitt Romney?
If that is best the GOP can offer, we’re doomed.
BTW, the story reads like Chuck Norris jokes:
Mitt Romney...
does not use spell check. If he happens to misspell a word, Oxford will simply change the actual spelling of it.
isnt lactose intolerant. He just doesnt put up with lactoses crap.
Mitt Romney! Thanks for the Friday fuuny.

A President Romney will do nothing - because there will never BE a President Romey,
He cooked his goose in Mass. If he could believe in and implement such unconstitutional hog wash as the health bill - he cannot be trusted on anything.
Sorry, Mitt. Go home.

The sky high expectations of Palin will be her downfall. I predict she starts out like Rudy as the frontrunner and fades over many months. Let's see.....Sarah Palin was the Republican VP nominee over 16 months ago, yet today, she leads all potential Republican hopefuls for the 2012 nomination.
How's that for "fading over many months"?
Today, at the McCain rally in Arizona, she was the undisputed star. It's reported that a vendor outside the event sold out of Palin 2012 buttons. Thousands were sold.
You can tout all of the snoozer candidates you want, but the lot of them together can't energize the conservative base the way Sarah Palin does.
Sarah Palin has a rare combination of personal attributes, record of accomplishment, and core beliefs that make her the most formidable Republican candidate this country has seen in generations. There is no one on the radar who even comes close to her potential.
From where I sit, and with the condition and mood of the country such as it is, the Presidency is hers for the asking.

Here's a fourth: A Presidential candidate Romney would never get the support of the core republican consituency, condemning us all to another 4 years of ObamaI won't vote for him. A Romney candidacy ends my part in the election as a republican.
I only supported McCain for the hope of Palin. I won't support another socialist proxy candidate.

Im as pro-life as one can be, but I seem to recall that George H. W. Bush finally came around on that subject (after years of sponsorship of Planned Parenthood). Lets get a Republican back in the WH, then well work on his bona fides for his re-election. We CANNOT afford another Democrat presidential term.
Romney ain't that Republican!
To: PGalt
Are there any others besides Romney who might run...that better represent individuals...not collectives or the state at the expense of the individual...in these United States/Individuals of America?
You are joking, right?
On his RomneyCare alone, he forced all citizens to buy insurance or pay a fine.
How is that being for the individual?
Wake-Up!

Wishful thinking on your part.
We already had one John McCain and Mitt couldn't even beat him with all his millions.
I really don't think the Rank and File of the GOP will be stupid enough to fall for another uber-RINO such as Mitt or John this time.
