Yesterdays column about the record number of concealed pistol license holders overlooked one point that should be mentioned: The anti-gun Violence Policy Center has a website devoted to homicides allegedly committed by people who have carry permits.
The website, Concealed Carry Killers, keeps a running tally that claims more than 150 victims of legally-armed citizens, and the count includes nine police officers. This was put together, of course, to discredit the 6 million citizens who havent killed anybody with their legally-carried handguns.
One might wonder if this scorecard includes Barbara Graham of Washington, D.C. Well, no, it couldnt, because she didn't actually kill anybody. Graham is the anti-gun activist who, on Jan. 26, 2000, illegally carried a .45-caliber pistol that belonged to her murdered son to the home of the man she believed responsible for the slaying. He wasnt, but that didnt help Kikko Smith, then 23, when Graham pulled the pistol and shot him, leaving him paralyzed for life. I say illegally carried because there are no carry permits in the District of Columbia, and at the time handguns were banned, proving that if somebody even an anti-gunner wants to violate firearms laws to commit a heinous crime, a gun ban isnt going to slow them down.
Witnesses said Graham, who has three living children and who was distraught over the loss of her son and frustrated with police efforts to catch her son's killer, went to Smith's house with her son's .45-cal. handgun
Graham, who had spoken at the Million Mom March rally, was convicted of that crime, and were lucky. Sure wouldnt want her hanging around a Starbucks, huh?

It’s something about spraying from the hip since you supposedly don’t need to aim with a “bullet hose.” Then they were conflating full-auto to semi-auto as a reason to ban semi-autos.
Back in those days, with a MAC-10 and its VERY crude and close together sights, we did a lot of hip firing. Now it’s all “squared up” and using a red dot sight or whatever.
When that picture was taken we were walking through a pop up target course, where ranges were like 5 to 15 yards. You can totally kill popups from the hip at that range. MACs were not a primary weapon anyway. They were for “shootouts in phone booths” such as on the bridge of a ship, where the compactness (for scaling the ships) was more important than accuracy beyond CQB range.
Shortly after, MACs were replaced by MP5s.
They also have an FFL to be able to buy and sell guns. Figure that one out.
Damn little gators....:p)
Understatement of the week.
A possible 150 out of 6 million concealed carry holders?
WRONG
150 dead souls, including sucides, and muliples.
So say 60 plus.
Some of those AK47’s ,etc.
Be careful how you say it.
I'm shocked I tell you, shocked to find that gun grabbers are not honest, that they lie and distort, and have their own personal or taxpayer provided armed guards.
Ping for those Quotes - Especially Robert E. Lee.
