Um
is Harry Reid losing it? The historic Senate version of the Health Care bill passed on Christmas Eve last year, was almost derailed when the Senate Majority Leader notoriously and mistakenly voted no before quickly changing it to yes. Getting the vote wrong on such an historic vote is a once-in-a-lifetime mistake, right? Alas, no it is not, for lightening appears have struck twice for the Nevada Senator. Or to quote an unidentified clerk picked up by a nearby microphone, he did it again!"

I assume he's not enjoyed much sleep in the last several weeks, and top that off with his concerns about his wife. I don't like the guy either, but I'm gonna cut him some slack on this.
Just my 2 cents, YMMV...

How did the clerk know how he wanted to vote? They should have accepted it and moved on.

This is what happens when you add alcohol to an idiot. I’m glad all the corrupt scumbags had a good laugh while bankrupting our country and ruining our health care system.

I’m sure he’s doing this on purpose, so he can say he voted “no”.
They do this all the time.
I remember for the 2008 election a liberal Democrat here in FL ran an ad for the house because “The republicans have been in power in the legislature for too long”. And I’m thinking, she knows that people have no idea whose been running the house for two years.

He thinks the repeal is here already. Glad to see he’s ready.

At the polling place I go to, you are not able to take the elderly in and tell them which lever to pull and what candidate to vote for. Too bad the Senate doesn’t have the same rules we have. Does the same legislative aide that changes his Depends also tell him how to vote?

There should be a proficiency test for public office. Those who become feeble old fools like Ted Kennedy and Robert Byrd have no place dictating the laws of the land. Laws they will never have live under and laws they cannot even comprehend in basic “vote yes/no” terms.

Ted Kennedy did the same thing to a piece of abortion legislation last decade.

Don’t be so hard on the old duffer. He doesn’t read the bills, so depending on how it is written, a yes vote can mean no and vice versa.

When God is busy smacking you over the head with a 2X4 24/7, sometimes you “accidently” slip and do the right thing...
To: edcoil
It was probably a computerized vote and he pushed the wrong button.
