After Democratic lawmakers were targeted by death threats and vandalism, House Democrats met with members of the Capitol Police today to discuss security concerns.
Majority Leader Steny Hoyer and Majority Whip James Clyburn held a press conference this afternoon on Capitol Hill, saying members had raised concerns and that Capitol Police told them to address any suspicious activity around the Capitol.
"Any member who feels themselves at risk is getting attention from the proper authorities," Hoyer said. At least 10 Democratic lawmakers have complained of threats or other security concerns.

Prediction: before the November elections, there will an engineered incident of “domestic terrorism” linked to the Tea Party movement. The MSM will go along with the Federales’ narrative that the Tea Party has become a violently radical, racist right-wing movement and any anti-socialist political opposition will be completely marginalized.
We’re being set up. At this point, I don’t even have high hopes that much will change in Congress during the midterm elections, particularly if they ram alien amnesty through in time.

Weren't we told of a 2009 "plot" cooked up by "racist meth addicts" to shoot the president? And then later (late last year) we were told of a similar Islamist plot that was halted by police action?
I don't doubt that there are threats. Rush Limbaugh says he gets death threats too but doesn't give them exposure.
The Pravda Media never reported on the death threats the President Boosh received, even in a media rich environment that fantasized movies and books about killing the president (named BY NAME).

PROBLEM SIX THE DOMESTICATION OF THE INDIVIDUAL
When New Dealers speak in one breath of a welfare economy and with the next breath bitterly denounce pressure groups it may seem that they involve themselves in an ironical dilemma. It is easy to say: “What would you expect, since you have made division of the national income a matter of political bargaining where before it had been always a matter of economic bargaining?”
Yet they are right, the New Dealers. In the welfare state pressure groups, representing willful political action, cannot be tolerated. They will have to be suppressed at last, because in the welfare state the government cannot really guarantee social security until it goes to the logical end, which is to ration the national income in time of peace just as all goods and satisfactions are rationed in time of war.
Bill Clinton successfully turned the OKC bombing into a re-election gimmick and a way to beat down his critics on talk radio (GG Liddy and others saw their radio programs dropped by many stations).
Now having gotten in the face of conservatives and eliciting a response which they do not like, now they cry foul. They expect to charge these people by jamming a bill down their throat against the majority, then when they use speech, like children, they have become afraid of a backlash. Any backlash is a creation of the democrats...it is they who denied all of the signs which warned them away from doing this hideous thing. They have made a frontal assault on the futures of their children and grandchildren, which any thinking person knows is the same as the slave-traders of teh 18th century. No, they are not being placed aboard ships for transportation to another continent. They are on this continent and are going to be voting citizens in the future, but the requiremnt to pay for these programs is now set in stone. The dems will have to live with all of the fall out. They want to claim any good, but deny responsiblility for anticipated and unanticipated consequences.
The more they press down on the neck of the taxpayer, the more responses they will have wrought. It is a sad thing that it comes to this. What a crying shame.

It will be taken away any other “hopes” are just that...”hopes.” They are exactly on target for repeating history. We are all in very real trouble and thinking this can be stopped without a challenge is wishful thinking.
Their actions this past weekend were with malice against the United States of America. They knew what they were doing. They feign fear now, but they have been assured retention of their power.
We need to stop trying to figure out why they didn’t fear their constituents for over a year? The answer is there in front of our faces, but like good enablers we are choosing to be in denial.
