This massively unpopular Health Care Monstrosity is being slammed through Congress for one reason... and the reason is not compassion for the poor. This bloodless "attack" is the major offensive in an obvious ideological war to force the American people into irreversable socialism.
The will of the people be damned. The Obama Doctrine is as Barack Obama has stated during his presidential campaign... to transform America. We are witnessing the overthrow of our political system and the destruction of our 234 year way of life.
Our country has fought numerous wars to protect our liberty. Virtual "rivers" of blood have been shed for over two centuries by American Patriots willing to sacrifice their lives for our freedom. The Memorial Day holiday was instituted specifically to honor those who made the supreme sacrifice for our protection... Future Memorial Days will ring hollow after Sunday if this odious bill is jammed through and shoved down our throats.
I truly believe America is again at war and the Democrat Party is the enemy. A democratic republic means specifically that the will of the people is paramount. Totalitarianism deems a central and all powerful federal government dictates to the people.
I believe Sunday is the tipping point. Are we going to be free? Or are we going to do what may be necessary. Patrick Henry said it best... Read your history books... the few that are left and haven't been rewritten.
Then we can have a greater chance of blocking it. Right now people hear “socialism” and think “Europe doesn’t have it so bad” (even though we know they do). However to explain what fascism is and compare to this health insurance plan... we’ll have a greater chance of stopping it before it is entrenched.
I agree with you too but the simple minds of your next door neighbors will have trouble accepting and believing such a harsh reality. I made a living as a salesman... you never slam the idea immediately, if you do they will hear nothing... success comes from gently massaging the idea... in fact helping them come to their own conclusion... help them believe it was their analysis and their decision all the time.
I’m tired of watching them chip away at our freedom. obama has a free pass to destroy America and no one seems to be able to stop him. What are we going to do? They portray middle aged and elderly women and war veterans at tea parties as enemies. They laugh us off. If amnesty passes we won’t even be able to take them on at the ballot box.
...and the states are up next before the people storm thru....according to the constitution you are quoting...Governors matter now and the states can fight this as they are already gathering to do and have begun.

We should work to neuter the federal government by getting the body politic in the states to basically tell Uncle Sam to go pound sand. That is the future battle: states rights
States rights? Sure but watch the results as the states sue the Federal government. The verdict might not make you feel all warm and fuzzy.

You know we usully see representatives from a distance or on various talk shows etc...but I have to say watching c-span this past year and especially this day where we see them in action...HOW did this people ever make it to Washington....I have friends that caould better preapre and debate an issue....and the woman are embarrassing to my sex...well theres a couple maybe but on the whole they are like silly school girls playing grownup....I am embarrassed of our representatives.
What do you think I was saying in the first place??? Read the essay. We are at a crossroads and what we do, we must do quickly. The tentacles of totalitarianism reaching finally into our healthcare creating a system that controls our personal existence cannot be debated for long.
States are up next....at least they can slow it down until Republicians assume control....
That is a risk, but I think one worth taking. At minimum states can tie up legislation by getting an court injunction or simply be refusing to participate in unfunded mandates until SCOTUS hears the case.
AT least by doing this, the overlords master of our universe in DC might think twice before ramming any more crap down our throats.

That’s it exactly....there are many avenues the states can take on our behalf if they unite and are on similar pages...this is historical but not in the way Pelosi and Bo might think...but in the peoples will....and how we will see that carried out come hell or highwater!
And if the states do not get what they want, they can secede and go their own way.
