The vote tally on health care reform is starting to look like the Dow.
Just when House Speaker Nancy Pelosi seemed to be one vote shy of the 216 she needs for health care reform to pass, a Democrat who voted for the bill last year says he's switching his vote to no.

That is a disgusting visual...
“I’m a no unless they fix this,”
Translation: I am No until my fix comes in.
DeFazio does the right thing. Now hold his feet to the fire to ensure he doesn’t switch back.
if they have the votes now it is just the tough races where the democrats will ALLOW them to vote no.
Time to start exposing the pork NOW.
This bs abotu the deficit is nonsense we want to reduce the DEBT.
The Castro/Chavez solution
“Don’t need Defazio to know which way the wind blows”
My hunch is that DeFazio is tired of the no votes getting paid off to switch while guys like him who have been on board from the beginning are getting nothing. I wouldnt be surprised to see more of this.
NRO says he is actually just undecided. He will thus likely vote yes.
Ryan indicates this is close, which is bad news for us. As opposed to having to win tons of votes, the other side only has to win a few.
“Its a coin toss, says Rep. Paul Ryan (R., Wis.) to National Review Online. We were just on the floor going through whip-check. They still arent there yet. Its narrowed down, from what we can tell, to four or five. Obviously, the numbers favor them, if you compare the pool of undecided votes to how many they need to come over. They only need about 50 percent of the remaining undecideds to break their way. On our side, we need seven votes to defeat this. At this point, were really only talking about a handful of votes. Its such a close situation, and very, very fluid. They dont want to win by just one vote with everyone cast as the tiebreaking vote they want to win by two or three votes. Thatll be hard to do, as will muscling votes in these final hours, since everyone is watching.”
A few votes can be easily bought.
Thus, it is very likely this passes Sunday.
Keep the calls going....maybe we will get a miracle.
Agreed.
“I REALLY dont like this circus with Nancy Pelosi bending over backwards on the trapeze, trying to attract votes.”
Wow, visualizing *that* is enough to make you blow chunks.
“The rats are counting on these bribes to help them face the voters in upcoming elections.”
Think for a second whose money is being used to bribe these people.
INFURIATING!
CRIMINALS!
Didn’t hold out for the bigger prize, dumbazz?
“This man is a solid yes vote!”
Well, I guess we’ll know more on Sunday/Monday. MORONS.
“MSNBC is now running a crawl saying (Im paraphrasing) that the vote may be delayed beyond Sunday if the Dems cant nail down 216. This is the first time Ive seen this, interesting, do you think Nancy is starting to cover her rear?”
Interesting. It might be the head fake, head shake, two step we’ve been hearing for two weeks, to get us to give up. OR, just maybe they’re starting to worry again...
Keep calling folks!

“Voting in new representatives wont change Congress. Its in need of a drastic rules overhaul. And term limits.”
Hear, hear! That’s gotta be part of the reset button that Glenn Beck’s been talking about recently.
If they just drew congressional districts to be more competitive, we wouldn’t need term limits.
