NRO says he is actually just undecided. He will thus likely vote yes.
Ryan indicates this is close, which is bad news for us. As opposed to having to win tons of votes, the other side only has to win a few.
“Its a coin toss, says Rep. Paul Ryan (R., Wis.) to National Review Online. We were just on the floor going through whip-check. They still arent there yet. Its narrowed down, from what we can tell, to four or five. Obviously, the numbers favor them, if you compare the pool of undecided votes to how many they need to come over. They only need about 50 percent of the remaining undecideds to break their way. On our side, we need seven votes to defeat this. At this point, were really only talking about a handful of votes. Its such a close situation, and very, very fluid. They dont want to win by just one vote with everyone cast as the tiebreaking vote they want to win by two or three votes. Thatll be hard to do, as will muscling votes in these final hours, since everyone is watching.”
A few votes can be easily bought.
Thus, it is very likely this passes Sunday.
Keep the calls going....maybe we will get a miracle.
