I called King's home office and suggested they call into Rush, Savage, Levin and others, they are going on fox tonight. It is time for us to put our actions where our mouths are. Shay's rebellion continues! We need everyone to contact other groups in and out of the state to get them going on this. If you can't go (ie your getting chemo that day), then consider donating to send another person that is not able to afford the trip. I am watching the national media, if there is a good response, I'll let you know. We have people looking into different venues for getting there. I'm going to take one of my bikes and camp roadside. Please call your congressman and tell them we are coming Saturday (even if you can't make it) and we're pissed. Call Rep Steve King in Iowa, tell him we are mobilizing and we need him to go on the other programs and enlist help from Bachman, Palin and others. We'll do our part, but we need them to pound the pulpit.

King: We understand that anything could happen with this speaker, but they seem to be committed to the 72 hour rule of file the bill and then 72 hours before they would bring it to a vote. So, that means they can’t vote before Sunday if they follow that rule and it looks like we’ll have a debate on Saturday, perhaps, and then again a vote on Sunday. So, we have some we have some applications out for a permit to have a huge press conference and we’re asking for that permit now. The timing is noon on Saturday and everybody that can come to this city makes a difference. They just cannot see the whites of our eyes and have the will to do this to the American people. They have to commit political suicide to vote for it, anyway, but still, they have to face their constituents the rest of their lives. I don’t think they can do that. That’s the one thing we can do to kill it at this point.

Furthermore, I expect we will get them and furthermore, people have a right to walk on the capital grounds. It’s American property. It’s a nationally owned property and when the offices are open, which I’m not sure about how that will actually be on Saturday, if we’re in session, he believe the offices will be open, but people can go into the congressional offices, the hallways are public property, they still have to go through the metal detector and they have to behave that respectful way, but they can still go into the offices, they can walk into the offices of the members of Congress that they want to influence. If they’re asked to leave, they actually should leave because the member controls the space in his office and should, but if this capital is full of people and we do that huge press conference, as we did before on the 5th of November, out on the west side of the capital, we had between 10 and 50,000 people poured in there that day and, of course, the /# 12 rally that took place, that was the greatest number of people I think since well, certainly since the presidential inauguration and that just makes so much difference, seeing the faces, stacking the people up here. If they can go to the district offices, I would say do that if you can’t get to Washington, but people can here’s the call. Drop your plows and your hammers and get on a plane or a bus or drive your pickup truck. Come into Washington DC, fill this city up. They intend to vote on the sabbath, during lent, to take away the liberty that we have right from God.
These people “fear” Pelosi, Reid and Obambi....They need to “Fear” us more and remember who they REALLY work for. Gosh, there are 360 Million of us and only several thousand of them.
Let them know who is the OWNER of this “business”...
There are going to be competing protest rallies there. the Antiwar types are protesting on Saturday (with GOE counterdemonstrations as well), and the Amnesty crowd are protesting Sunday.
This a real, verified, event. I heard Rep. King on Glenn Beck today. We already have at least one bus heading up from Savannah.
Please everyone try to make it there. This might be our last chance to fight this monstrosity.

Thought you all should be aware that there is a large march by leftists scheduled for DC this Saturday, March 20. Search for freepers “ETL” and “Trooprally” for info on counteractions being planned. I’m aware this is different than your discussion but figured you’d want to be prepared for the opposition. (I’ve been at protests sponsored by ANSWER—their followers are nasty at best and can be physically dangerous.)

The House will meet at 9 a.m. on Saturday with votes happening as early as 10 a.m., Hoyer said. The lower chamber will then meet Sunday at 1 p.m. with votes happening as early as 2 p.m.
Hoyer said the House could vote also could be earlier than 6:30 p.m. on Monday, when they are normally held.

You’re right, the marching won’t move obama.....but we might reach some moderate who in his/her heart knows that what pelosi/reid/obama are doing is WRONG.
