EMERGENCY March on DC this Saturday

I called King's home office and suggested they call into Rush, Savage, Levin and others, they are going on fox tonight. It is time for us to put our actions where our mouths are. Shay's rebellion continues! We need everyone to contact other groups in and out of the state to get them going on this. If you can't go (ie your getting chemo that day), then consider donating to send another person that is not able to afford the trip. I am watching the national media, if there is a good response, I'll let you know. We have people looking into different venues for getting there. I'm going to take one of my bikes and camp roadside. Please call your congressman and tell them we are coming Saturday (even if you can't make it) and we're pissed. Call Rep Steve King in Iowa, tell him we are mobilizing and we need him to go on the other programs and enlist help from Bachman, Palin and others. We'll do our part, but we need them to pound the pulpit.

Just listening to Glenn Beck. He has Rep Steve King from Iowa on. He is applying for permits to have a rally there at noon. He says that folks need to ‘put down there plows and come to dc’ if ever there was a time. Says we need to absolutely flood and shut down the capital, if we want to stop this.

Guess I’d better make a sign and show up.

if a large scale protest is going to happen, we need some details quick. DC is a 20+ hr drive from the midwest where I’m sure we could get a lot of people from. I have 5 plus people with whom I work here in Richmond, VA that will go, we just need details

Not to throw cold water on any effort to show our determination and strength...but Saturday demonstrations don't work as well as weekday demo's because all the pols, beauracrats and media are away. We marched more than a million strong at the Tea Party demo on a saturday and DC just yawned. We have to show the depth of our commitment by shutting the town down
