Specter Opens Door on White House Felonies(Can this be what brings down Zer0 and his pals?)

"There's a crime called misprision of a felony. Misprision of a felony is when you don't report a crime. So you're getting into pretty deep areas here in these considerations." -- U.S. Senator Arlen Specter on March 12, 2010

"Right now, they're doing the 'I won't confirm or deny,' and for us, it leaves two possibilities. One is the promise of transparency in this administration is just shot. The second one is even worse, which is either Sestak is lying or the administration has done something wrong and is covering it up…" -- U.S. Congressman Darryl Issa on Friday on March 12, 2010

"The 'stonewall strategy' functioned from the very first episodes of the cover-up. It was instinctive, from the very top of the Administration to the bottom. It was also ad hoc, developed in small reactions to the flurry of each day's events…we found ourselves trying to hold a line where we could." -- Nixon White House Counsel John Dean in his Watergate book Blind Ambition

Here we go again.

Even as the drama of health care carries the headlines, beneath the surface, visible now, the iceberg of scandal ripples.

First, the timeline on the blossoming scandal upon which we will now officially fix the dreaded "gate" descriptive. Jobsgate.

From the article:
http://spectator.org/archives/2010/03/16/specter-opens-door-on-white-ho/4
“There can be no other reason for Gibbs to be fending off Jake Tapper or Major Garrett, for Robert Bauer and Gibbs both to ignore Congressman Issa, or for Andrew Romanoff to stonewall Denver’s Peter Boyles — the list is growing - than one.

That one reason?

At a minimum someone inside the Obama White House has screwed up and embarrassed the president.

Or, that somebody or more than one somebody — a somebody or somebodies of note — has or have in fact committed a federal crime in the President’s name.”
+++++++++++++++++++

Whether this ‘goes’ anywhere or not, this is right now in the public spotlight and we must at least try to pursue...it’s all about exposing the truth of this corrupt chicago thug WH.

Issa for AG. I’ve got pretty good Cabinet selections for 2012.

Go Issa, bring it down.

“Woodward and Bernstein were made rich and famous for tracking down the dirt on Nixon and his crew.
Are there ANY news folk out there with the moxie to go after obammy and his crew>”

####

The “dirt” on Nixon was child’s play compared to Kennedy and LBJ, let alone more recent, real criminal professionals like the Clintons.

Nixon was targeted by the socialist LeftMedia because he stridently ran Commie ass into the ground during the HUAC activities of 1948.

It will take a force outside the Communist OldMedia to go after Zero. He is one of them.

Hello GOP: media: There are crimes being committed in the White House. Will you wake up now??

Ah no, the dinosaur media only goes after GOP scandals, including all the way back to Watergate. They covered for Buba and they are performing excellently for the current messiah.

Take the House in November and then start the action.

Certainly should be reasons for a GOP led House to introduce Articles of Impeachment.

To be investigated by Holder. Yea, that will work.

Just seeing Specter involved makes me think it's all for show. Nothing will be done in the end.

No, you misunderstand. This is how Specter will rejoin the Republican party. He will rail against the corrupt Democrat party and leave for the Republicans in disgust.

Maybe I am sarcastic, maybe not.

It’s not that there are no journalists willing to do these kinds of stories. The problem is that the major networks, NY Times, AP etc...those we group as “the MSM”...aren’t willing to do them. I believe the root of this unwillingness is twofold.

First, they agree with the aims of the Obama admin. They think the way of the world should be government “fixing” all ills. This is the main reason they don’t investigate many stories - they just don’t see them as problematic issues to be investigated.

Second, they are afraid of losing connections and access. This is the main reason they don’t dig into stories on the Obama admin with the same zeal they would have on the Bush admin.

If any one of them wanted to boost sales / viewership, all they would have to do is treat Obama and his admin like they treated Bush and his. Viewers / readers would FLOCK to them.

The only way this sees light, IMHO:

GOP takes the House.

GOP finds testicles.

GOP files impeachment proceedings against the Prez.

Can you impeach a Kenyan citizen?

Would this have to be cleared with Kenya or Indonesia courts?

“This is how Specter will rejoin the Republican party. He will rail against the corrupt Democrat party and leave for the Republicans in disgust.”

I’m thinking Specter can blow his democratic opponent out of contention by accusing him of misprision of a felony. Admiral Sestak will have to reveal the details of the bribe offer or be accused of a felony. If he reveals the details, he will look bad for having hidden them. Either way, Specter can eliminate his chief opponent in the primary.

I expect Specter to be all over this. If felonies reach into the White House, the media should have a feeding frenzy much like Watergate. Sen Specter’s name will be featured in the media 24/7. Enough to resurect his political career.

I know a few “Progressives” from New York.

The way they see politics is very corrupt. They see no problems with paying bribes to get what they want. In the socialist or communist world, paying bribes is standard operating procedure.

But, if they see a bribe committed by a republican, they see it as a hypocritical action, as Republicans condemn it.
They then feel free to condemn and demand justice.

Much like the Adultery theme, they can do it because they approve of it. We can not do it because we disapprove it.

Spitzer went down not for taking bribes or breaking laws. He went down because of Hypocrical activity .... prosecuting hookers while patronizing hookers. If he never prosecuted hookers, he would have been given a pass in NY for patronizing them.
