Weve done a million posts about this three-way match-up but I dont think weve done one yet about a key swing state. Not what I would have predicted. Floridas the first really important stop on the GOP calendar that weve looked at, and Romneys lead there is overwhelming. He gets 52% to 21% for Huckabee and 18% for Palin. Its closer, but still a double digit advantage, in Colorado. There Romney gets 44% to 25% for Palin and 17% for Huckabee.

And this time Palin has the socio-path media challenge as well, something she didn’t have to deal with so much in Alaska. She’s obviously taking the reins on that level too: Fox News position, allying with Andrew Breitbart, looking to do documentary about the state she governed, facebook page, twitter, etc...etc...

Romney finished second in 2008 and not terribly far from McCain in Florida. If it hadn't been for Crist’s endorsement late in the game, and Crist was popular back then, Romney would probably have won Florida.
Huckabee and Palin splitting the social Conservative vote could easily translate to a Romulan victory.

If Obamacare passes, everything will change.
Every Republican candidate must make a commitment to the repeal of Obamacare—lock, stock, and barrel. No “fixes” or “tweaks.”
Romney cannot be trusted to go for repeal, even if he commits to it. Neither can Nanny Huckabee.
The Left has probably not realized a big change that has occurred in the past year: Freedom-loving Americans now know about Alinsky and Cloward-Piven.
Obamacare is custom-made for Cloward-Piven. Phone lines jammed with people wanting to make appointments with every doctor. Emergency rooms jammed with people with bumps, scrapes, hallucinations, etc., etc., etc. An epidemic of hypochondria coast-to-coast. Every time the U.N. starts one of their flu scares, ten million Americans jam emergency rooms demanding to be inspected and tested for flu. An avalanche of complaints about rude behavior, sexual harassment, racial or disability discrimination.

The only polls that matter are the ones on the dates of the PRIMARIES and then of course the first Tuesday of November, 2012.
Yes and for crying out loud let's not get ahead of ourselves. November 2010 is the important thing now. There will be plenty of time starting in mid 2011 to start thinking about Nov 2012. Let's put our energy into November 2010.

“Public Policy Polling (PPP) is an American, Democratic Party-affiliated polling firm”
Bingo!
The poll is a complete fabrication, and is intended to push Romney into an early lead for the Republican nomination for 2012. This is totally a Democrat operation.

You folks give this guy WAY too much thread space. He’s not a play-uh. He’s going nowhere.

Palin, God love her, is not yet ready for such a task . . . Put down the LSM Kool-Aid and pick up a copy of "Going Rogue". You'll see things a lot more clearly, if you do those two things.

"key swing state"
THE fact that FLA is a November swing state is irrelevant to the primary season ... the key states still appear to be:
IOWA
N HAMPSHIRE
S CAROLINA
FLORIDA
He will be toughest to stop in NH and FLA. The flaw of this poll is that someone else could likely defeat MITTSTER in FLA, but PALIN and HUCK are not strong there.

The MSM are idiots in this sense: They are blowing it by attacking Palin so much that in the end people will just get sick and tired of it all, all of the " so called scandals', all of the controversy made up by them; it will be like the Clinton fatigue.

If Romney wins the nomination and you hold to your statement, they you have voted for King Obama. Many of you just don't get it, we will have no perfect candidate so our best bet to save what we can of America is take the lesser of the two evils. Which are you for
I've pretty much said the same thing a number of times here on FR and been immediately savaged for it. Politics is sometimes about 2 steps forward and 1 step back. Progress is often made in small implements. I had to hold my nose and vote for John McCain in 2008. I even gave him money. This was painful, but the thought of Obama winning turned my stomach. You are right, there are no perfect candidates. If we could resurrect Thomas Jefferson from the dead and run him again, many here would be savaging him for the Louisiana Purchase.

Romney attacked the McCain Palin ticket through surrogates
to throw Election2008. He cannot profit from that on this planet.
I WILL NEVER VOTE FOR ROMNEY ON ANY TICKET.
EVER.
EVER.
And neither with millions upon millions of Americans.
The McCain/Palin ticket was up ++8 to 10 pts. in some polls, days prior to the election.
So rather than helping the GOP, poor loser I am Myth Romney and
TeamROMNEY decided
to attack Gov. Palin (and her defenseless children) to throw Election2008.
"Frum was indeed a critic of Palin, calling her nomination a "huge mistake" during an October 13 (2008, weeks before the election) Early Show appearance."
David Frum: "Two of our most plausible candidates for president in 2012 are leading Mormons: Mitt Romney and Utah governor Jon Huntsman."
David Frum: "I have a lot of regard for Mitt Romney as a man and politician
I will support him without qualm."
Late in October, The American Spectator's The Prowler revealed:
"Former Mitt Romney presidential campaign staffers
have been involved in spreading anti-Palin spin to reporters, seeking to diminish her standing after the election.
'Sarah Palin is a lightweight, she won't be the first, not even the third, person people will think of when it comes to 2012,'
says one former Romney aide
'The only serious candidate ready to challenge to lead the Republican Party is Mitt Romney.
"Some former Romney aides were behind the recent leaks to media, including CNN, that Governor Sarah Palin was a 'diva' and was going off message intentionally."
The Palmetto Scoop reported: "One of the first stories to hit the national airwaves was
the claim of a major internal strife between close McCain aides and the folks handling his running mate Sarah Palin."
"Im told by very good sources that this was indeed the case and that a rift had developed, but it was between Palins people and the staffers brought on from the failed presidential campaign of former Gov. Mitt Romney, not McCain aides."
"The sources said nearly 80 percent of Romneys former staff was absorbed by McCain and these individuals were responsible for what amounts to a premeditated, last-minute sabotage of Palin."
aides loyal to Romney inside the McCain campaign, said The Scoop, reportedly saw
that Palin would be a serious contender for the Republican nomination in 2012 or 2016, which made her a threat to another presidential quest by Romney.
Erick Erickson, who organized Operation Leper, said:
"These staffers are now out trying to finish her off
.hoping it would ingratiate themselves with Mitt Romney."
"Who's the Palin Leaker from the McCain Campaign?
National Review Online The publication of a Vanity Fair profile of Sarah Palin
appears to have opened old wounds in the McCain campaign.
... the source of the Diva leak was Nicolle Wallaces husband."
Who benefits most from Sanford meltdown? Californian (that's right) Mitt Romney
