Rep. Eric Massa, D-N.Y., under investigation for alleged sexual harassment of a male staffer, accused House Democratic leaders of lying about the charges against him and using them to run him out of Congress because he voted against health care reform when it last came before the House.
Roll Call reports this morning that on the local radio show he hosts in his district, Massa said he had not been informed of the sexual harassment allegations before they became public. He claimed that Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, D-Md., spoke falsely when he said he had brought the matter to him previously, Massa said. “Steny Hoyer has never said a single word to me, at all, ever, not once," Massa said. "Not a word. This is a lie. It’s a blatant, false statement."

BTW, if I heard correctly on Rush Limbaugh's show today, Massa claims that Rahm Emanuel came up to him totally nude in the House gym shower room (since Emanuel is no longer a House member, his presence there may have been against the rules) and started to argue with him about his intention to vote "No" on the 'Rats health care bill. Massa may resign from his seat.
Just called Claire McCaskill’s office and received a “mailbox is full” recording so I called her Springfield, MO office and spoke to her aid on tricare and medicare. Also, contacted Kit Bond’s office via email and asked for a repeal on raising the tricare deductibles.

I've had Fox News on twice today, over breakfast and now lunch. It's been Massa both times, with little else being covered. Sure, that's Fox, but they hold such a large percentage of the news-viewing audience, it's pretty sure the greater masses are getting their Massa.
How in the hades can they get rid of him with Barney Frank doing so much worse?
