Scroll down for update debunking MSM right-wing spin
A nutball shot two security guards at a Pentagon-area Metro station in D.C. yesterday.
As Patterico reports, he hated Bush and littered the Internet with 9/11 Truther rants.
But just as I passed on playing the blame game with the global warmicides earlier this week, Im not playing MSNBC/NYTimes-style gotcha with this one, either.

The morons down at the Southern Law Poverty Center should at least pretend as though they’ve done a little research before they start putting out their vomit to the state run “media”.
You can bet he voted for the “messiah” too.
Facts don’t matter. The MSM and liberals have already written the story line that this nut case was an anti-gov’t / birther / 911 conspiracy believer. And the ongoing liberal story line is that good liberals don’t believe in such things, so of course this demented guy must be a radical far-right extremist. And let’s refer back to the Napolitano report warning of such people. I don’t even have to watch the news on this, I know how it’s being reported.
But just as I passed on playing the blame game with the global warmicides earlier this week, Im not playing MSNBC/NYTimes-style gotcha with this one, either.
Well I sure as hell will...you don’t want THEIR lie to take hold....
Sadly, you’re right.
Well, if you look at American history, virtually all the violent terrorists and assassins have been, wait for it . . . leftists.
And, by the way, when the left responds with, “Hey, what about all those evil, violent, KKK members,” my response would be, “Hey, buddy, all of them were DEMOCRATS!”
Senator Robert Byrd (D) isn’t the only former KKK politician still extant. But 99.99% of them are or were Democrats. The Republican Party was the party of emancipation, for those with short historical memories.
That is not to say that there aren’t a few right wing crazies. But they are far fewer than the left wing crazies, and far less likely to go around killing people.
Oh boo hoo, oh boo hoo hoo

From each according to his ability, to each according to his need.
The capitalist creed:
From each according to his gullibility, to each according to his greed.

From HumanEvents.com, April 29, 2008:
"By all accounts, he [Obama friend and associate, Bill Ayers] was a ferocious, violent, revolutionary Marxist in his halcyon days as a Weatherman leader. He and his Weatherman bombers were enamored of Ho Chi Minh, Che Guevara, Fidel Castro, Mao Tse-tung -- indeed, all the murderous heroes on the Left. Referring to the Weatherman members in August 1969, he said (according to the FBI): 'Were revolutionary Communists.'
He got off on the groups multiple explosions, too, and discusses them rather lovingly in his memoir.
Ideal Bombing Weather:
'Everything was absolutely ideal on the day I bombed the Pentagon,' he writes (although he concedes it was really a group effort). 'The sky was blue. The birds were singing. And the bastards were finally going to get what was coming to them.' (p. 256 in the 2003 edition.)

"It was at the Chicago home of [Bill] Ayers and [Bernardine] Dohrn that Obama, then an up-and-coming 'community organizer,' had his political coming out party in 1995. Not content with this rite of passage in Lefty World where unrepentant terrorists are regarded as progressive luminaries, still working 'only to educate' both Obamas tended to the relationship with the Ayers."

He was a hard core leftist Truther registered democrat.
Are heads exploding at DU yet?
[Lee Harvey] Oswald was a dedicated communist who had defected to the Soviet Union in 1959 out of disgust with American capitalism. After becoming disillusioned with Soviet life, he returned to the U.S. in 1962. In early 1963, he bought a scoped rifle through the mail and soon used it to fire a shot (which missed) at retired general Edwin Walker, the head of the John Birch Society in Dallas. In the summer of 1963, Oswald was active in street demonstrations in support of Castro. In September 1963, he visited the Soviet and Cuban embassies in Mexico City seeking a travel visa that would allow him to travel to Cuba.
Oswald was among the radicals of the time who saw Third World revolutionaries like Castro as the wave of the communist future. He was well aware of Kennedy's efforts to overthrow Castro's regime. As a Senate investigative committee suggested in 1975, Oswald shot Kennedy to interrupt his administration's plans to assassinate Castro or to overthrow his regime in Cuba.
Ignoring Oswald's communist links, journalists and political leaders quickly claimed the president was a martyr to civil rights. Earl Warren said that Kennedy had "suffered martyrdom as a result of the hatred and bitterness that has been injected into the life of our nation by bigots." Martin Luther King said the assassination had to be viewed against the backdrop of violence against civil rights marchers in the South. James Reston wrote in the New York Times that "something in the nation itself, some strain of madness and violence, had destroyed the highest symbol of law and order."
The consensus opinion was that Kennedy was a victim of hate and bigotry, a casualty of his support for civil rights. The Cold War and Kennedy's ongoing feud with Castro were rarely mentioned as factors behind the assassination. The reasons? Mrs. Kennedy wanted her husband remembered as a modern-day Abraham Lincoln. Lyndon Johnson feared complicating relations with the Soviet Union. Liberals feared a replay of the McCarthy period, when the Wisconsin senator inflamed public opinion about fears of domestic communism.
Party registration means nothing. Thankfully though, he wasn’t a Republican.
Thanks for all the links and info. Great job as usual, ETL.
Now they are deriding so called truther people? When GWB was president they were celebrated and held up as enlightened people who stood up to the right wing power structure.
