Chief Justice John Roberts is not stepping down from the Supreme Court, despite a celebrity gossip report, a source very close to Roberts told Fox News.
RadarOnline.com reported Thursday that Roberts, 55, would be resigning for personal reasons.
But the source said the report is "completely untrue." There is "no medical issue, no issue at all," the source said, adding that there is not even a 1 percent chance that Roberts is considering resignation.

I agree, but Supreme Court justices have life appointments and the impeachment process isn't easy. The threat of scandal or embarrassment won't work against these people; they don't care if you have videotape of them having sex with underage male goats while accepting a bribe at midnight in the basement of the Chinese Embassy. They are there for life.

If anyone knew the consequences of losing a vote in the SC it would be Roberts, I would like to believe the guy would go on life support before he quit at this political turning point.
I think he loves this country and his family too much to hand the deciding vote to Obama.
