I am a katrina victim, and this retard lawsuit is going nowhere. Should industry have to pay all damage caused by all hurricanes? I mean if american man made global warming caused one hurricane, then it causes all hurricanes...and cyclones, and typhoons. You just can’t pick and chose which ones we americans caused.
Shouldn’t people who drive non-smart cars also be responsible for Katrina? What about the C02 that we exhale? I am responsible for katrina, I guess I should prepare for my deposition...

Seriously? Seriously?? Correct me if I’m wrong but I seem to recall that they made it through the storm ok. The breach of the levees caused most of the damage in New Orleans. Meanwhile, my relatives in Mississippi lost EVERYTHING during Katrina but understand that living where they do comes with significant risks. And they’re rebuilding. Using insurance money. Not dependent on the government to take care of them. Concept.
I was in Ocean Springs (Biloxi) for Camille - talk about destruction....I can’t recall a single person back then who would even have considered coming up with the insane idea to sue “contributors” for a bleeping hurricane. They would surely have been laughed out of town for it’s been commonly known for centuries that hurricanes hit the Florida Panhandle and the Gulf on occasion and that just comes with the territory.
