Southern Poverty Law Center Tries To ‘Alinsky’ The Tea Party Movement
David Horowitz's NewsReal Blog ^ | Liz Blaine

Posted on 03/03/2010 5:43:04 AM PST by Michael van der Galien

Using tactics straight out Saul Alinsky’s Rules For Radicals, the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) has released a scathing report attempting to isolate and ridicule the Tea Party movement. Filled with leftist talking points and blanket statements, the SPLC report, “Rage On The Right: The Year in Hate and Extremism,” asserts Tea Party alignment to “Timothy McVeigh and Olympics bomber Eric Rudolph,” “hate groups,” “furious anti-immigrant vigilante groups,”and ”so-called ‘Patriot’ groups.” In the eyes of the SPLC, the average American citizen is

“shot through with rich veins of radical ideas, conspiracy theories and racism.”

"They would stand next to a white person holding a sign and hold up their own sign saying “EVIL” with an arrow pointing to the white person."

Another protestor should have stood on the other side of the person holding the "EVIL" sign with a sign saying "STUPID" with an arrow pointing towards them.

Of course the SPLC would NEVER monitor the Black Panthers, Nation of Islam

Both are "Black Liberation" revolutionary communist in their TRUE ideology. No different than Obama's "reverend" Wright, Bill Ayers or Van Jones.

From the Louis Farrakhan, Nation of Islam website, FinalCall.com...
Malik Zulu Shabazz, chairman of the New Black Panther Party for Self-Defense (NBPP):
"We are happy today to be standing side by side with the Nation of Islam. We believe, like the Nation of Islam and the Honorable Elijah Muhammad believe, in a nation of our own. We believe in a Black first philosophy and a Black Liberation Theology. We don’t worry about the criticism. We love all of those who labored in the Panther Party from the ’60s. Many are with us today."

From the Maoist Internationist Movement:
[1960s/original] Black Panther Party [BPP] Archives
From the article: REVOLUTIONARY HEROES

"On May 1st, May Day [1969], the day of the gigantic Free Huey rally, two of Alioto's top executioners vamped on the brothers from the Brown Community who were attending to their own affairs. These brothers, who are endowed with the revolutionary spirit of the Black Panther Party defended themselves from the racist pig gestapo [the police].

Pig Joseph Brodnik received his just reward with a big hole in the chest. Pig Paul McGoran got his in the mouth which was not quite enough to off him.

The revolutionary brothers escaped the huge swarm of pigs with dogs, mace, tanks and helicopters, proving once again that "the spirit of the people is greater than the man's technology."

To these brothers the revolutionary people of racist America want to say, by your revolutionary deed you are heroes, and that you are always welcome to our camp."

Obama’s civilian security force:
Billy club-wielding security guards at Philly polls

By Michelle Malkin, November 4, 2008

"Here’s the vid of billy club-wielding 'security' guards at the 1221 Fairmount Ave. polling place in Philly from Election Journal. Just as I suspected, these guys look like NBPP [New Black Panther Party] from the emblem on one of the 'guard’s' jackets.

Maybe this is what Barack Obama was talking about when he proposed a Civilian Security Force."

“Although it [The New Black Panther Party] says it sees capitalism as the fundamental problem with the world and “revolution” as the solution, the new party does not draw its influences from Marxism or Maoism as the original party did. Instead, in a carefully-worded, roundabout form of ethnic nationalism,[8] they say that Marx based his ideology and teachings on indigenous African cultures, and that the NBPP therefore need not look to Marxism or Maoism as a basis for their program, but can look to ideologies that stem directly from those African origins.”

Note: the page has very recently been deleted (~7/30/09) and now only exists in the following linked Google cache version, thus the long url:

UPDATE! (Aug 3, 2009): The MySpace cache version has been dramatically altered and no longer contains the troubling images above and others like them. However, the following linked Washington Times article has several screen captures of the original page, although, for some reason, they apparently do not include any of them waving the guns around. Perhaps they do, I just didn't see any on my first attempt.

VAN JONES (Obama's former 'Green Jobs Czar'):

YouTube:
"Valerie Jarrett, Senior Advisor to President Obama, speaks [lovingly] about Green Job Czar, Van Jones, at the Netroots Convention on August 12, 2009. Then Van Jones speaks about [a COMMUNIST] transforming [of] the whole society."

STORM's official manifesto, titled, "Reclaiming Revolution," surfaced on the Internet."--via TheObamaFile

VAN JONES SHOCK ADMISSION [in his own words]: "Goal is Complete Revolution"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fh4Z0V0zNQg
_________________________________________________

Here is the transcript of the above YouTube video:

“Right after Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat if the civil rights leaders had jumped out and said OK now we want reparations for Slavery, we want redistribution of all the wealth, and we want to legalize mixed marriages. If we’d come out with a maximum program the very next day, they’d been laughed at. Instead they came out with a very minimum. “We just want to integrate these busses…”

But, inside that minimum demand was a very radical kernel that eventually meant that from 1964 to 1968 complete revolution was on the table for this country.

And, I think that this green movement has to pursue those same steps and stages.

Right now we say we want to move from suicidal gray capitalism to something eco-capitalism where at least we’re not fast-tracking the destruction of the whole planet. Will that be enough? No, it won’t be enough. We want to go beyond the systems of exploitation and oppression all together. But, that’s a process and I think that’s what’s great about the movement that is beginning to emerge is that the CRISIS is so severe in terms of joblessness, violence and now ecological threats that people are willing to be both pragmatic and visionary.

So the green economy will start off as a small subset and we are going to push it and push it and push it until it becomes the engine for transforming the whole society.

Here's the original source for the Van Jones quote about the time he spent in jail following the Rodney King/LA riots (Jones was arrested in "peaceful" protests in San Fran). It was in a 2005 interview he did with East Bay Express. They of course (what else?) claim he "renounced his rowdy Black Nationalist ways" since then (yet he's calling for "complete revolution" in Aug 2009! ...see above):

But in jail, he said, "I met all these young radical people of color -- I mean really radical, communists and anarchists. And it was, like, 'This is what I need to be a part of.'" Although he already had a plane ticket, he decided to stay in San Francisco. "I spent the next ten years of my life working with a lot of those people I met in jail, trying to be a revolutionary." In the months that followed, he let go of any lingering thoughts that he might fit in with the status quo. "I was a rowdy nationalist on April 28th, and then the verdicts came down on April 29th," he said. "By August, I was a communist."

The 1992 LA/Rodney King riots were instigated by the Revolutionary Communist Party...

From David Horowitz's FrontpageMag.com /DiscoverTheNetworks.org:

"Throughout its history, one of RCP's [Revolutionary Communist Party] principal objectives has been to foment civil unrest in the United States. The most notable example of such efforts occurred on April 29, 1992, when RCP members looted and trashed the downtown and government districts of Los Angeles, triggering the infamous Rodney King riots. During the days immediately preceding the violence, RCP -- which maintained close ties to the L.A. gangs known as the Crips and the Bloods -- had circulated throughout South Central Los Angeles a leaflet featuring a statement by RCP National Spokesman Carl Dix, titled 'It's Right To Rebel' -- a quote popularized by Mao Zedong.

Encouraged by Dix, RCP activists helped lead the riots that would leave 58 people dead, more than 2,300 people injured, some 5,300 buildings burned, and $1 billion in property damaged or destroyed. On the ten-year anniversary of the rioting, RCP member Joseph Veale fondly recalled the violence as 'the most beautiful, the most heroic civil action in the history of the United States.'"

While that would have been a satisfying action, in THIS city, that would also get you beaten or shot....EVEN with all the police and secret service that were around us. Savannah is a majority black city and a militant one at that.

For the life of me, I don’t understand why the tourists risk life and limb to visit here. I see them walking in areas that you could not PAY me to step foot out of my car.

And I really want to see the price tag to the city for His Majesty’s visit.

All I can say is that Zer0 and the rest of the 'rat contingent had better get down on their knees and appeal to God and thank Him for continued patience and "long suffering" of a majority of the American people..

...there are sounds of distant thunder when people like the SPLC start comparing law abiding citizens, who none of them associate with or even know, with proven wild eyed lunatics.

The SPLC feasts on paranoia. It actually tracks American Civil War groups (particularly "Confederate" organizations) and once claimed that these folks were armed militias in training and a direct threat to the U.S. government.

Silly.

Have you seen the price tag for his Winter Holiday Vacation in Hawaii? Recent report said that due to his lack of planning and forewarning of activities, businesses LOST upwards of $200 million (employees on the payroll but no customers due to p-resents security needs, no customers because roads were unexpectedly closed...). And he probably didn’t even leave a tip!

These non-profit guys aren’t against capitalism at all. Check out their audited financial statement on their website.

For those who dont want to bother, suffice it to say that they have a multimillion dollar annual budget, financed by donations—many of which are bludgeoned from fawning and mollifying corporations which make annual donations. And the donations exceed their operations cost by $4 million a year—tax free of course since they are a non-profit.

But why do they need those annual donations? They have an asset value of $221,000,000, most of which is in endowment from previous donations that is almost $200,000.

If they were true leftists who want to help the poor they’d spend some of that endowment on them.

Why do they hate the Tea Party movement so?

Isn’t it just a few million people asking for lower spending and lower taxes?

What does Southern Poverty have to do with the Tea Party?

And why do they vitriolically hate them so?

the SPLC report, “Rage On The Right: The Year in Hate and Extremism,” asserts Tea Party alignment to “Timothy McVeigh and Olympics bomber Eric Rudolph,”

And yet they insist that Bill Ayers, Communist, domestic terrorist, traitor, Pentagon bomber, was just a guy in Barack Obama's neighborhood. < HA HA HA! >

If I remember correctly, it was a bastard child of the SPLC called "Cult Watch" that provided the bogus information to the Feds that led to the (small h) holocaust at Waco back in '93.

These people are dangerous, and they're trying to set us all up for some more of the same. They are absolutely about using the government as a tool to crush patriotic American dissent.

Expect them to spew the “Nazi” invective – with the historical revisionism BS that it being a ‘righting’ phenomena.

Just remember: NAZI was an acronym for: Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei that translated into English as: National Socialist German Workers Party.

Bottom line, the Nazis were Socialists, just like certain members of a National party around here that shall be nameless.
