Israel receives military and financial assistance, and also some diplomatic support at the United Nations, but the US puts pressure on Israel to surrender parts of the homeland... It seems to me a Ron Paul presidency would be good for Israel and for the United States. Its foreign policy non-interventionism and its concern to protect national sovereignty would provide Israel with a greater impetus to increase its own independence and sense of national honor. I hope American Zionists will resist the immediate, meretricious attractions of American financial assistance for Israel. Ron Paul would both end this infantilizing, and even corrupting, aid and respect Israel's national sovereignty. Taking the long and deep view, Ron Paul should be the Zionist choice."

Pro-Israeli Independence, Pro-Zionism, Pro-Sarah Palin and Pro-Rand Paul!!
Ron Paul Zionism! End Foreign Aid, and allow Israel to act freely in its own defense!!
I am not supporting Ron Paul for President in 2012. Good grief, the man will be 77.
My girl is Sarah Palin. And she's bringing the Paul People to the table. I think that's a good thing.
Palin/Paul Alliance 2012!!
I agree that Ron Paul’s views have been grossly misunderstood and he is NO anti-Semite!
Very pleased that Palin endorsed Rand Paul, who will hopefully be Kentucky’s next Senator! :)
Palin 2012.
No.
When Israel wants to show faith, Israel will refuse foreign funds. Otherwise we will just see them going around begging at China’s or Russia’s back door.
What's done, is done.
The truth of the matter is, there has been a loose alliance between the Palin camp and the Paul camp going back at least 4 years. Just as there was a loose alliance between the RonPaulist libertarians and the Reagan Republicans back in 1976 and 1980. This isn't a "rivalry". It's a political alliance.
This is good for the Paul People, good for the GOP, and good for Sarah Palin's support in 2012.
The Palin/Paul Alliance -- the New Definition of Real Conservatism in America.
Respectfully, bollocks.
ISRAEL IS READY TO BE 100%-CAPITALIST. It's only US Foreign Aid that's holding them back.
Once the US cuts off all foreign aid, Israel will acheive true independence.
Personally, I think that would be a good thing for both countries.
Oh Lord no!
Still no.
Oh, Lord, yes.
Been awhile in coming, but here we come.

The Palin/Paul Alliance. The new definition of "American Conservatism".
(shrugs).
As goes Sarah Palin, so goes Free Republic. Which means that the Palin/Paul People (PPP) are going to win.

financial aid is one thing. But what about the war against islamofascist terror??
“As goes Sarah Palin, so goes Free Republic.”
Not so fast, newbie
Paul is a “9/11 truther.” Some nut house is missing its nut.
Howzabout this.
Here's a little historical anecdote I heard from Ron Paul's former chief staffer, Dr. Gary North. It's from his article, "Nuclear Agates in a Marbles World".
There is one target with such enormous strategic importance that for it be taken out is so unthinkable that literally everything hinges on it not just today, but permanently. This target is ground zero of a balance of power strategy that has been operational for 1400 years. It is a granite cubicle called the Kaaba. Inside it is a black stone, which Muslims believe was found by Abraham and Ishmael. For hundreds of millions of Muslims, this is the holiest of relics. If these two religious objects inside Mecca were ever obliterated, the survival of Islam might be called into question.
That would make the Bomb more powerful than Allah....
This is theologically inconceivable for Muslims, or at least ritually unmentionable."
Now THAT is Political Honesty.
THAT is how you win a War against Islam (if we're politically incorrect and honest enough to admit that we are at war with Islam). NUKE MECCA. Islam cannot be true, if Mecca doesn't exist.
And on, and on, and on....
In Islam, Mecca is God's geographic point of contact with the Faithful. All prophecies lead to Mecca. The nuclear destruction of Mecca would be as theologically-devastating to Islam, as would the discovery of Christ's Bones to Christendom.
The difference is, Christ's Bones can't be found on Earth -- because He reigns at the right hand of the Father even now.
But Mecca can be destroyed. And that would overthrow the very philosophical basis for the existence of Islam. Game, Set, Match -- permanently.
In other words, if you want to fight a War against Islam: either Nuke Mecca and be done with it, forever -- or else keep bleeding blood and treasure in the same sorts of halfway brush wars, for decades.
I've only ever seen two public figures willing to speak on these facts in public: former Representative Tom Tancredo, and Ron Paul's proxy writer Dr. Gary North!!
Why is it that only Tom Tancredo's camp, and Ron Paul's camp, are willing to confront Theo-political Reality? Nuke Mecca, and it's all over for Islam, forever... but only Tom Tancredo's people, and Ron Paul's people, are willing to speak this truth out loud.
Sarah Palin understands the importance of Theo-Politics. That's probably why she's bringing the Rand Paul people under her wing.
You Betcha.
Nice comment, I agree.
I am not a Ron Paul follower but reading up etc, I think he’s been misunderstood.
He has gotten some labels that people just seem to go along with, without further investigation.
I have a hard time seeing Sarah going along with alot of what Paul stands for and very publicly says (eliminating the various departments in the Federal Government (not just reducing spending, completely eliminating them), eliminating the Income Tax, completely withdrawing all US troops deployed overseas, etc).
I do support Ron Paul, and (grudgingly I will admit) Sarah is a decent politican, but outside of Paul being very independant of the GOP and her admiring him for it, I don't really see them getting along.
you actually think you can defeat islam simply by blowing up a rock?
Palin endorsed mccain so maybe FR should also go with him?
