SNIPPET: "On Jan. 18, Lachlan Cranswick left the Chalk River nuclear facility, where he worked, and took a bus to Deep River, the small town on the Ottawa River where he lived.
The 41-year-old physicist, whose job entailed running experiments for the National Research Council, had just finished some work for a researcher overseas and left his findings on his desk, to be mailed later.
Sometime that night or the next morning, he took his garbage bins outside for pickup.
Then, he vanished without a trace.
When he didn't show up for work for several days and missed a game with the local curling club, of which he was a devoted member, his friends went looking for him."

ON THE TEHRAN EXPRESS.
Yep.
Good post.
Radiation may have rendered him invisible and hes having with it; or maybe he is now trans-dimensional and has broken through to the other side?

In fact, the scientist had taken some vacation days and was only reported missing when he failed to show up for a tournament.”

“Scientist’s disappearance baffles investigators
Brother, friend fear foul play”
BY MEGHAN HURLEY, THE OTTAWA CITIZENFEBRUARY 4, 2010
SNIPPET: “”I’m personally thinking some misfortune fell on him. Either he got hit by a vehicle, or someone took him away,” Knight said. “I just can’t think of anything else. I just can’t see him running off.”
Knight and friends put up missing-person posters all over the town and beyond, reaching out to anyone who might have information. Police have also interviewed everyone who has had contact with Cranswick in the last few months.
Cranswick has worked for the NRC’s Canadian Neutron Mean Centre for seven years, examining the structure of chemicals.
“His collaborators from universities across Canada praise his effectiveness in supporting their research,” said Daniel Banks, a spokesman for the centre. “He was a driving force in developing our scientific tools to the leading edge.””
I hope not.
He looks like Sheldon!
Hope they find him unharmed.

Another theory: Some terror group has an interest in the Charles River nuclear facility as a TARGET. They abducted him to get information regarding facility entry protocols, layout of the factiliy, location of sensitive materials....something like that.
That’s another THEORY.
The photo the article used is old. 2002ish.
Why wouldn’t they have used his photo ID from the lab or something more recent?
