By now you've probably heard about a lunatic with a small airplane named Joe Stack who crashed his plane into an IRS building Austin, Texas in an attempt to get back at the man-or "Big Brother" as he so eloquently stated on his website.
I'm not about to blame Joe Stack's kamikaze mission on Rush Limbaugh, Sarah Palin, or the Tea Baggers like some on the left. That is irresponsible and reprehensible. Anybody who would blaim Stack's suicide mission on Limbaugh, Palin, or the GOP, is purely agenda-driven and not looking at the facts.
Joseph Andrew Stack (gotta love how the media always includes the middle name) was a middle-aged man who tired of the political system and felt like yet another little guy that was neglected by Uncle Sam.
His rantings are the words of a lunatic. I won't call him "right-wing" or "left-wing" and will just say this guy was nuts.
(VIDEO AT LINK)
"We are all taught as children that without laws there would be no society, only anarchy. Sadly, starting at early ages we in this country have been brainwashed to believe that, in return for our dedication and service, our government stands for justice for all. We are further brainwashed to believe that there is freedom in this place, and that we should be ready to lay our lives down for the noble principals represented by its founding fathers."
This type of rant reminds me of something you'd hear from a Lynden LaRouche supporter or someone who speaks of the Illuminati.
I certainly wouldn't call this guy a religious extremist. He ranted about the Catholic church in his manifesto as well.
"My introduction to the real American nightmare starts back in the early 80s. Unfortunately after more than 16 years of school, somewhere along the line I picked up the absurd, pompous notion that I could read and understand plain English. Some friends introduced me to a group of people who were having tax code readings and discussions. In particular, zeroed in on a section relating to the wonderful exemptions that make institutions like the vulgar, corrupt Catholic Church so incredibly wealthy."
People who knew the Joe Stack say he showed no signs of snapping-the mark of someone who goes insane. He talked politics, but not like that guy we all have met or know who we suspect will possibly go postal or shoot up a shopping mall.
There's an old saying that a sucker is born every minute. These days it seems like a lunatic is born every minute. My, my how things have changed in America. And, that is very frightening.

The communist creed:
From each according to his ability, to each according to his need.
The capitalist creed:
From each according to his gullibility, to each according to his greed.

No wonder the Obamunists had the letter pulled!
I don't think that the Air America hosts were going to go postal either but I do believe them all to be batsh!t crazy and antiAmerican.
They’ve become more delusional than ever..
I am just surprised that no one has not blamed it on Sarah’s endorsement of McCain yet. I am sure someone will soon.
I read it - sounded left to me.
They are counting on the length preventing their knuckle draggers from reading it.
There's no party registration in Texas. Any registered voter can vote in any party primary, but once you vote in a primary, you can't vote in any other party's runoff. It's also illegal to run as a candidate in one party but vote in a different party's primary. The most important ramification of voting in a party primary is that one can't then sign a petition to get an independent candidate on the general election ballot for November. Some elective offices in Texas require gathering of signatures in lieu of or as well as paying a fee to get on the primary ballot. In that case, signatures must be from persons who voted in that party's primary in the previous election cycle.
The guy was obviously very articulate and comparatively well educated. So when he ends his so-called "manifesto" with this below, I think it leaves no doubt of his political ideology. He's bashing Capitalism and cozying-up to Communism.

The guy was an obvious commie lib obot. The end of DeathCare sent him over the edge according to his writings.
Pray for America’s Freedom
Yes, an obvious liberal who felt betrayed and wanted to strike out. Lived in San Fran and Austin, what more proof is needed.
Notice down at the bottom there is a link for “Tea Baggers”? I can’t believe that name is sticking.
parsy, who is unsure whether to laugh or cry
Welcome to much of the progressive electorate...agenda driven and devoid of facts. (aka lying)
Other Rants
What do you expect? They are all crazy ass delusional retards that lie at the drop of a hat to keep their dumbass construct of them being innocent “intellectual” victims, perpetuated.
DemoLefties are all friggin nutbag pervert liars, and they are so retarded, they actually believe their own lies, even when they are the ones who made them up!
Liberals are a seath cult whose members are too stupid to survive truely adverse times. They are all inevitable mass grave statistics.
‘B Ark-ers’ to their genetic cores.
I agree.

If you read his "manifesto" he basically screwed up his taxes a bunch and got penalized for it and wasn't a successful businessman.
It was a personal grudge, not a political statement.
I really detest that Keep Austin Weird thing. Whenever I see someone wearing a t-shirt with that on it, I want to throw up.
Since I live in a suburb of Austin, I have to go there often, and I’m a little turned off by a city that has residents wanting to keep their city weird.
Sad thing is we’ll get more of this type of desperate act in the future. This guy is a nut, but too many in this nation are conditioned now to look to the government to be their savior, and the government will never deliver as promised.
Harry Reid was write. Every day they do not pass this bill, more people will die.
Blaming it on Ron Paul is also insane.
