Heck, they even mentioned the plane that crashed into building in Tampa shortly after 9/11. Failed to mention that the kid flying that one was a recent convert...
I do not sense this was an accident.
If the fuel tanks breached and made it into the building it might. But neither is likely IMO. The fuel on a 150 is all in the wings, and the wings would likely separate from the fuselage as the relatively large surface area of the wings made contact with the building pretty much all at once. (The 150 is not a swept wing aircraft.) I also don't think the tanks would breach, but that's more of a guess. Remember the Yankee ballplayer who crashed into an Eastside apartment in NYC? I don't think there was the same sort of smoke in that instance. I think it probably has something more to do with what was inside that building.

Amarillo, TX had a small plane crash on a City Street yesterday. Two people on plane 57 & 56 died. No one on street died. It was a miricle.

CNN here in Europe just announced that homeland security stated that there was no reason to believe it was terrorism

good witness just now on MSNBC He described the plane (he has flown planes) and how low it was (it was just above the street lamps) He said the plane’s engine sounded like it was at full throttle
My bother in law is an Oklahoma City fireman. He went through the attack on the Murrah building. Pray for the rescue personnel.

Top of the hour news on the radio just said there is no airport nearby so it is not in any take-off and landing flight path. And as we expected because we have become so use to it, they said at this time there is no indication of terrorism.
Eyewitness says engine seemed to be full throttle as it went over parking lot across the street.
Said it was low, nearly clipping 30-foot parking lot lights.

[It does seem to be a large amount of damage just to be a ‘small’ plane. One report said it may carry 40 gal of fuel, if I heard right.]

Don’t forget most buildings like this have back up generators and keep thousands of gallons of diesel for them. If it happened to hit that, it could cause a lot of damage.
