Obama recently said this:
"Surely you can question my policies without questions my faith, or for that matter my citizenship."
This quote is significant, and IMHO desperate.
Progressives play political games. Especially with words; political correctness is only one fascet of this. Many times, they throw stuff out hoping someone will pick it up. I think that's what this is. They are out there thinking "pick it up, PICK IT UP!" whether it gets picked up or not in a day, week, month, or more.
For all the anger that conservatives had that the progressive media didn't go after van jones for a multitude of things, it was that Jones was a 'truther' that did him in. 'Truther' has become synonymous with whackjob, and the media have been successful in getting 'birther' to also be synonymous with whacko.
As the beneficiary of most of the media's propaganda, surely Obama knows this and is in a position to capitalize upon it.
I found that quote very telling, as well....but for a wholly different reason.
I think...he’s scared. Yes, really.
The media is progressives main tool however over time tools become very dull and useless.
It seems to me he is trying to play the sympathy card. I cannot feel bad for him, until he realizes what he is doing to us. Sympathy, trust etc. goes both ways, not just his way. Again, it’s all about him....how pathetic.
The truth is out there and will only be hidden as long as the media wants it to be hidden. Once the bloodbath of November mid-terms pass, I would not be surprised if the media turns on him and we start learning about O's hidden past.
——————I think...hes scared. Yes, really.———————
I agree. That’s why he’s trying to get someone to pick it up.
Many on the left(not just obama) view calling someone a birther to be a powerful discreditism.
only in the minds of those who don't care about Article II of the Constitution and have forgotten about that SR511 drawn up by those 100 birther Senators back in 2008.
I will have to also agree with your assumption.
Not sure Dr. Manning’s law suit against Columbia and Obama has merit, but it defently is keeping the heat on the birth-er issue.
Something that shouldn’t be forgotten is that the original birthers were the hillary supporting PUMAs.
Conspiracy theory #10467-B:
Obama has sequestered his birth records in Hawaii specifically to FUEL this kind of speculation, allowing him then to paint his opposition as a bunch of fringe whacko nutjobs.
How many "Surelies" do we have in the conservative movement who are taking their orders, like this one, directly from the usurper's mouth.
The problem for Obama in playing that game is...what happens after the laughter dies down and someone in the media asks “well why don’t you just release your long form birth certificate then and show these people how silly they are?”
(Note: I’ve been called a birther, afterbirther, denier, etc etc by both sides. I think many people involved are nutty like that dentist lady...but I do wonder why he won’t release it.)
Nope — many here and elsewhere were onto this from the moment of Obama’s candidacy. The PUMAs were late to the party.
They feel that if they say enough times that 'birfers' are nuts, that then that will happen, because EVERYBODY will believe them.
If they tell us the stimulus is creating billions of jobs, and repeat that statement one million times as a positive affirmation, it will materialize into reality.
These folks are NUTS.
There is a clinical term for such ideation.
It is called, magical thinking AND it is considered very unhealthy, a sign of psychological derangement.
Course this is the OPRAH ADMINISTRATION -- so they only read pop psychology and have NO idea that Oprah & her authors are running a billionaire conning scheme on the reading public.
Some people understand the games progressives play.
Some don’t understand.
Which are you?
Nobody in the media is going to ask him that.
Except for fox, maybe. But then again, fox isn’t a real news outlet anyways. *rolls eyes* Especially at this point. The progressive media outlets never saw it as valid, and with as much discreditting as they’ve done, fox wouldn’t touch it at this point.
That’s the beauty of being a progressive politician in a nation with a majority of progressive news outlets. You don’t get asked all kinds of questions.
And there’s been so much about Obama, even right from the beginning, that there’s no need for all this birth certificate stuff. No matter how valid it may be.
I’m more interested in seeing his college works uncovered.
Do you understand my answer???
The Law Lecture Barry Soetoro will NOT remain safe using clinical defense mechanisms such as denial and reaction formation.
But these kidz only read the pop psychology authors who show up on Oprah.
And Barry would never listen to his wife Michelle, because her street smarts can't compete with the Ivy League Elite he's so proud to be a part of.
How pathetic.
How many people in America want to grow up to be part of the East Coast Ivy League Elite????
Oh, that's right, BHO didn't grow up in America.
