This is a direct attack by government on a business in order to benefit the government controlled business.
To: Sub-Driver
Isn’t it a conflict of interest when the government who owns two car companies bad mouths a competitor? is there an agenda here?

This would be advice from a member of a government that owns an automaker. A government that is strongly tied to unions. Unions that Toyota avoids.
I have a Toyota, it’s not in the recall list, but if it were, I’d still drive it.
Screw you government thugs.

Car rental agencies had already stopped renting the “affected” Toyotas before this announcement. This announcement just makes it official for them.

The article makes the situation sound extremely serious and that a series of bad moves by Toyota is the problem. However when you look at the track record of 0’s admin, I’m gonna have to call Bravo Sierra on this as I do NOT trust 0 or Ray LaHoodlum. They haven’t told the truth about anything yet, why start now?

If an Indiana company makes the pedals that caused the recall, shouldn’t they bear the burden of all the cost of the recall?
Shouldn’t it be their reputation that is sullied, rather than the auto manufacturer that trusted them?

I wonder how many of the gas pedals actually stuck or is it our government doing this on purpose?

Imagine how this sticking gas pedal problem would be handled if it occurred in a car made by government owned GM or Chrysler.

The problems grew last August when a California Highway Patrol officer and three family members were killed in a high-speed crash aboard a 2009 Lexus ES350. The Lexus hit speeds exceeding 120 mph, struck a sport utility vehicle, launched off an embankment, rolled several times and burst into flames as a family member called 911.Thought to call 911 (like what is 911 gonna' do for you right now?) but nobody thought to turn off the ignition?

How many ulterior motives? Let me count the ways...
- drive-up sales at Government Motors
- depress oil prices to help economy and Barry’s poll numbers
- drive down oil consumption to please global warming crowd
- send message to Japan, keep buying T-bills or we can really
screw you good
To: Sub-Driver
Wonder how many Washington politicians shorted Toyota stock before this testimony?
