PHOENIX Republican Sen.-elect Scott Brown of Massachusetts has recorded a robocall message for John McCains re-election campaign in Arizona.
Brown made the recording a day or two after his Jan. 19 victory over Democrat Martha Coakley. The four-term senator from Arizona endorsed Brown in the race for the Senate seat held previous by the late Edward Kennedy.
McCain spokeswoman Brooke Buchanan said Brown has offered to help the Arizona senator in his campaign.
In the message, Brown introduces himself as the newly elected senator from Massachusetts and says that McCain supported him when few people thought he could win. He encouraged callers to support McCain.
The robocall message was played to Arizona callers last week.
"Scott Brown has long admired Senator McCains independent spirit and record of public service," said Felix Browne, a spokesman for Scott Browns campaign. "He has described Sen. McCain as one of his political heroes and was grateful to count Sen. McCain among his earliest supporters."
McCain faces Minuteman Civil Defense Corps co-founder Chris Simcox in the Republican primary. Former U.S. Rep. J.D. Hayworth is planning to join the Republican field, though he hasnt formally announced his candidacy.
Rodolfo "Rudy" Garcia of Tucson, a former city councilman in Bell Gardens, Calif., is the only Democrat who has officially entered the race. Tucson City Councilman Rodney Glassman, a Democrat, has formed an exploratory committee, but hasnt yet made a formal announcement.
McCain has never lost a statewide election in Arizona.
He won his last two re-election races with more than two-thirds of the vote, and easily carried his home state in the 2008 presidential election with 54 percent of the vote.

Agree and do not let us forget he is against sending ILLEGALS back to where they came from and wants to give amnesty to those here.
Ought to be Lt. John McQueeg - "I proved with...geometric logic...that a duplicate key to the Senatorial icebox DID exist.."
Ronald Reagan wouldn't meet the expectations of the right these days.
“Agree and do not let us forget he is against sending ILLEGALS back to where they came from and wants to give amnesty to those here.”
MCCAin doesn’t even object to an illegal alien being president!
According to John McCain EVERYONE in the world should be able to come here.
Give everyone in the world an opportunity to come to America
Those who live closest are the ones who can get here. Everyone in the world should have the opportunity through an orderly process to come to this country.

Change rule barring immigrants from running for president?
Q: Should we change our Constitution to allow men like Mel Martinez, born in Cuba, and Arnold Schwarzenegger, born in Austria, to stand here some night as candidates for president?
McCAIN: He and I have many similar attributes, so I have to seriously consider it.

And let us not forget the RINO that McCain is.
Oh, and about that reprimand McCain had over the Savings & Loan fiasco. That was a pretty big problem.
By the way McCain is the ONLY person to run for President that was EVER reprimanded by the Senate.
McLame.
At least Abramoff is not a atheist Socialist bent on destroying America.
So he didn’t receive monies from Jack, it appears in your post?
What about the monies McLame received through the S&L scandal?
Bookmarked for future stupidity from Maelstorm.
Why must you ruin every thread?
JD will still win dispite you, Sarah Palin or Scott Brown.
Stay with your Illinois Threads.
I voted for Scott but I just sent $100 to Hayworth. I wish Brown would shut up and stick to learning his new job.
Troll alert.
Senator Stupid is deeply entrenched in DC with LOTS of powerful friends on both sides of the fence.
Scott Brown and Sarah Palin simply don’t understand that these forces are using them for pawns.
The RATS need McCain and Graham as backup votes in case they loose the Senate in 2010.
Once McCain is gone, The WonderTwins will fade from power.
There’s a reason SEIU donates to McCain.
Bingo.
“Troll alert. “
There’s an understatement. :<)
Brown ...has recorded a robocall message for ...McCains re-election...
One new loser backing another old loser.
Brown endorsing McCain does not surprise me one single bit!
Groupthink alert.
ditto
Your projector has a dim bulb.
