A Cold January Night, But Warm Support at Walter Reed, Week 250, January 29, 2010
A frigid evening with snow on the way found eight of us decked out in cold weather gear to fight off the wind chill in the low teens.
FRONT GATE NOTES
The wind kept our flags waving fiercely while an unusually large number of cars passed up and down Georgia Ave.
Many drivers honked their horns and passengers waved, as we waved back. Their support for the troops keeps us warm. VictoryNY, Lurker Bill and RonGKirby are constantly waving and respond to the passengers who roll down their windows to say Thanks for being here.
And last night CindyTrue Supporter, Victory NY and Mrs Trooprally were surprised when a car stopped, the window rolled down and the gentleman asked Are you taking donations? We thanked him but said we are here to support the troops and their families.
With flags and signs, we greeted the DAV bus and the large bus, both returning with wounded soldiers and their families from dinner.
WRAMC Anti - War Protester News Five moonbats down the block Started with two, but around eight pm, 3 more joined them until 9pm (sharp) then they beat feet.

God bless all of you. Lordy! You must have frozen your joebidens off!
We had our first TP this afternoon. Had short pants on. Didn’t even sweat.
Hugs all around from this grateful patriot. You all go beyond the scope of duty. Come on spring.
WARM TAXMAN BRAVO ZULU!
Dang, almost hated to relive last night. At least in Olney this morning there was no wind, and the snow mostly bounced off us.
