Sounds like they stopped a potential islamist terrorist.

Definiteoy weird. Maybe an ex con who was recruited in prison, and attended a hammat for jihadist training.

Had some strange ordnance.Looks like there is a gun smith in the mix somewhere. This guy should be interrogated enhanced. But he won’t be.

Yes.

But where are the "second-degree unlawful weapons possession and fourth-degree possession of prohibited weapons" violations?
The authoress could have been more specific: Is it illegal to own a semi-automatic rifle and ammo in New Jersey?

I see grenade launchers (sans grenades) advertised for sale at many surplus outlets.

Hollow point ammo is legal.

Body armor is legal.

It does sound as if this guy was up to no good, but unless he was actually violating laws this report is just more fear mongering by a female GFW.
.

If he had any sense he would claim to be with the New Black Panther Party and be back out on the street in no time.

Report states the rifle had a defaced serial number. That’s all it takes.

If they had found any grenades on him, I’d be worried.

I know they made a .50AE (Desert Eagle) caliber upper for the AR-15 some years ago along with some modified magazines.

Sheer numbers of these idiots means they will start to pop up here in the CONUS more and more !

Most likely in a so called gun free zone , city, county, state where they have a better than average chance of a successful bloodbath ! Places where nuthin but sheep and no sheep dogs per se !

But we have discussed all this over and over huh.....:o)

My opinion.......

“A U.S. Navy spokesman, Lt. Justin Cole, said Woodson joined the service in February 1988 and served aboard the USS Orion, a submarine tender, before deserting in April 1989. It would be eight years before he was returned to Navy custody, Cole said. A month later, in August 1997, Woodson was discharged.”
