[DingBat Media] GOP [Ma.] win may cost La. $300 million

WASHINGTON — The win on Tuesday by a Republican in the Massachusetts U.S. Senate race could be expensive for Louisiana — $300 million to be exact.

That’s how much Democratic U.S. Sen. Mary Landrieu secured in the U.S. Senate version of the Democratic health-care bill for the state’s health insurance program for the poor. The money was to be used to help fill a gap the state faces because of a federal funding formula that penalizes Louisiana because “per capita income” rose during the infusion of insurance and federal government money to help rebuild after hurricanes Katrina and Rita.

Landrieu said Thursday she would continue to push for the money in the Senate version of the bill that Democrats have said could be their only option of passing health-care legislation now that Scott Brown has become the critical 41st Senate vote for Republicans.

Senator Mary quite Contrary neglects that the Senate version of the Bill has Government funding for Abortion, which Catholic South Louisiana does care about.

The newspaper neglects to mention how this was just "pork" for Louisiana that many other states were complaining about that was "unfair" in the Healthcare Bill

Today is the Anniversary of Roe vs Wade.

So people in Louisiana need to be reminded how Senator Mary Landrieu has supported Government funding of abortion.

I can just imagine the commentaries this station must air about bank robbers that were cheated out of their chance to rob.

I imagine that in a very small area of the U.S. this could be seen as a loss of 300 Million, but everywhere else it is seen as a saving of 300 million.

I love how anytime corrupt politicians don’t get their hands on our money it “costs” them.

Sold his vote for $100 million
Popularity at home falls into the 20’s
Voters are outraged
Repents,wants to give back the money
Gets booed at a pizza parlor
Scott Brown gets elected,Obamacare dies
Nelson ruined his career for nothing
If he’s a whore,he takes checks and gives a money-back guarantee.

Sold his vote for $100 million

Seems to me the long term benefit for NE was in the billions, but in whoreville whose counting. Ben Nelson is GONE, and so is the long term benefit that NE didn’t want in the first place.

Oh, one more for the list, “Governor also outeraged at state budget busting health care/insurance reform bill supported by Ben Nelson.

The $300 Million tax dollars was a Democrat slush fund. How do we know? Read on.

Landrieu Dumps Cash On Hopeless Democrats
The Hayride | 1/8/2010 | MacAoidh / FR Posted by Hayrider

According to a report at CQPolitics.com today, Louisiana’s senior Senator Mary Landrieu has been busy cutting checks to help the fortunes of sagging Democrats around the country. (Excerpt) Read more at thehayride.com ...

REFERENCE A largely overlooked provision in Sen Reid's bill sends $100 million to Louisiana to cover Medicaid "for the poor." Plus $200 Million for (cough) Katrina costs. Louisiana's Mary Landrieu (posing as a holdout) said, as the 8 pm vote loomed: "I've decided that there are enough significant reforms and safeguards in this bill to move forward." Landrieu voted "for the poor." Now she can flaunt her "tolerance and compassion." (/snic).

CALL CONGRESS TOLL FREE Capitol switchboard: 800-965-4701----800-828-0498------- 877-762-8762. Ask your Dem legislators what he/she was willing to exchange for selling his/her vote for ObamaCare.

====================================================

We need to connect the dots to those who voted for this amendment and connect it to their FEC campaign finance filings.

The FBI should interrogate Landrieu and her associates to determine what they received of value --- money, jobs, campaign contributions, political cover---- in exchange for votes, and the extent of the collusion to misuse Congressional influence.

POSSIBLE CHARGES: facilitating govt fraud; official acts prohibited; misuse of Congressional funds; abuse of public office; violating oath of office; misuse of government position; abuse of government power; conflict of interest; influence buying; conspiracy to deceive; misuse of elective office, collusion, conspiracy to collude; falsifying official documents, presenting false instruments for filing.

Landrieu'ss official campaign finance records filed with the FEC, and state election commissions, should be scrutinized for possible violations. (a) Determine if names of contributors are legit, (b) whether campaign contributions were disguised. (d) She may have colluded and agreed to give/get something of value, campaign assistance, campaign cash, a govt gratuity, jobs for relatives, etc, in exchange for votes.

Authorities need to determine whether collusion with corporate donors occured. For example, officers of publicly-held companies may have used schemes such as, (a) misusing corporate reserve accounts, (2) concealing losses, (c) inflating asset values and (d) improperly accounting for transactions, as well as (e) deferring profits into reserve accounts, (f) improperly shifting capital funding to other projects to hide illegal payments, and (g) whether money laundering schemes to evade the IRS, SEC, FEC and US banking laws were integrated into these schemes.

=================================================

Keep in mind that elected officials are held to a higher legal authority---what is acceptable behavior for citizens might be a prosecutable crime for elected legislators under oath of office.

==================================================

"I'm a Healthcare Holdout--Buy Me."

Going, going, gone----S=O=L=D----for $300 million.
With all that govt money in her offshore account, maybe
Landrieu'll do something about that ugly retro hair of hers.

The word “cost” seems to have lost its meaning. An election stopped us taxpayers from bearing the cost of redistribution of our earnings. Didn’t “cost” Louisiana a dime.
