NEW YORK ELECTION CENTRAL

If we are going to make a difference in the upcoming election, we need to KNOW the candidates. Please post the names of ALL your Congressional candidates on this thread along with any and all information available.

We need names, positions, platforms, news articles, statements, pictures. We need to separate the RINOS from the Conservatives, and most of all, we need to get the liberals of either party OUT!

We can do this if you help. I have started this thread. All you have to do is contribute a little time and a little research. Help us help this country, and between us, we WILL take our country back!

Let's Do It!!!

You New Yo’kers have your work cut out for you

Kirsten Gillibrand of New York (Barack Obama won New York with 63%)
Chuck Schumer of New York

The Class I Senate seat in New York currently held by Kirsten Gillibrand, will be contested in special elections resulting from Hillary Clinton’s appointment to the Cabinet as U.S. Secretary of State

Is there any hope going on there to get rid of ANY dims? The myriad of idiot critter’s is scarey

John Hall, 19th District House of Reps is up for re-election. He is a loony moonbat member of Dem Commie Progressives.

Running against him is Nan Hayworth

New York Sen. Charles Schumer, who famously hammered then-Sen. Alfonse D'Amato for calling him a "putz-head" in their hot 1998 campaign, was accused Thursday of stepping into the gutter himself after he sent out a fundraising e-mail in which he called Massachusetts Republican Senate candidate Scott Brown a "far-right tea-bagger."

Mr. “use it or lose it” Maurice Hinchey up for re-election in the 22nd district.

Republican George Phillips is challenging him for a 2nd time and appears to be a good person for the job.
Let’s face it - compared to Hinchey - pretty much anyone else looks good for the job.

“Kirsten Gillibrand of New York (Barack Obama won New York with 63%)”

Gillibrand is VERY vulnerable.

If we call talk shows, write editor’s letters, talk with everyone we know, etc., I think we can get her voted out.

Not much hope if the goal is to elect true conservatives. If you are willing to take baby steps and vote for a RINO, then yes, there is hope that we can shift the landscape to the right. Pataki (RINO) leads Gillibrand (RAT) something like 53% to 38% if Pataki decides to run. Yes, Pataki is in the RINO Hall of Fame; I know that, but if given a choice between Pataki and Gillibrand, the choice should be obvious.

I’m in NY-18. Nita Lowey is our rep but I have heard of no challenge by a Republican.

I’ve done my time in politics! Plus I’m having health issues. I live in the smallest section of the district on the west side of the Hudson. I would imagine a candidate would come from Westchester.

Republican businessman weighs run for Hall’s congressional seat

Describing himself as a “self-made millionaire” voters will know, Thomas DeChiaro of Mahopac announced Wednesday that he’s forming an exploratory committee to consider running for New York’s 19th Congressional District seat.

The 47-year-old businessman, who is president and CEO of the Winery at St. George, linked his announcement with the stunning upset a day earlier by Republican Scott Brown, who won a special election for the U.S. Senate in Massachusetts. “The blue-collar families of the Hudson Valley are alarmed by the ever expanding size of government and their rising tax bills,” he said. The congressional seat, now held by Rep. John Hall, D-Dover Plains, is already being sought by Nan Hayworth, a well-financed Westchester County Republican and ophthalmologist.

More Republicans join race to unseat Rep. Hall

David McFadden of Tuxedo Park announced Friday that he's running for Congress, making him one of at least three Republicans gunning for the seat Democratic Rep. John Hall has held for three years.

McFadden, founder and CEO of an architectural consulting firm in Manhattan, and a former mayor of his gated village, said in a statement that it was his “civic duty” to run, and called himself the “only true conservative” of the Republicans hoping to challenge the “ultra liberal” Hall.
