I remember what happened in 1972. Again, it’s not that common. The average citizen in D.C. is under more of a threat than a candidate at a street gaggle on Capitol Hill. We should all have guards.

Without paying much attention to tv news, I still managed to see that reporter at least 3x today, being interviewed, minimizing the incident. He doesn’t seem outraged or even upset. (I sure would be.)

Great! They should be interested! You would think that journalists would be upset that one of their own was treated this way—regrdless of politics. Freedom of the press should be a preserved right.
