Former Gov. Sarah Palin of Alaska has signed on as a contributor to the Fox News Channel.
The network confirmed that Ms. Palin will appear on the networks programming on a regular basis as part of a multi-year deal. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Ms. Palin will not have her own regular program, one person familiar with the deal said, though she will host an occasional series that will run on the network from time to time. This person would not elaborate, but the network does have a precedent for such a series. Oliver L. North is the host of an occasionally running documentary series on the military called War Stories.
Many suspected that when Ms. Palin retired as the governor of Alaska last summer she was doing so to pursue some sort of career in television. The Fox News deal, however, would not seem to be all encompassing, and would appear to give her room for other pursuits, as well.

I don't blame her a bit.
Of course, look what that leaves as possible candidates from the rinos!!
Yuuck!
Remember what she said about the view never changing for second dogs??? It's all or nothing for her politically at this point...
This is a good way for Palin to enhance her gravitas. Its better than posting on Facebook.
Being a Fox constributor, helped Huckabee. According to Public Policy Polling, Huckabee is the strongest candidate to challenge Obama in 2012.
What a good move!
Sarah is going around the MSM and now she will be on the only channel that is not part of the MSM.
This is one smart woman. She knows what she is doing.
Yeah, I agree. I take this as, she has zero plans on running for president. Maybe that is good in the long term, who knows. Problem is, who the hell else is out there???!!!
Doesnt sound like she is having her own show, she will be a political commentator, kinda like Dick Morris and Karl Rove, except its gonna be Sarah Palin..This is AWESOME news! now she will have an even bigger audience to go after Obama and his policies

Well this news made Mitt’s day. I believe there is a big difference between appearing on FOX and being a contributor. Newt is out, Huck is out now Palin is out.
I really wanted her to run, but to win she would have to follow one rule she has broken too many times. That is: “What would Ms. Thacher do?”
I love her, (she pisses off all the right people) but I think this toasts her chances for the oval office. I wish her all the happiness and love in the world.
Vote for Scott Brown! http://www.redinvadesblue.com/Moneybomb/Donate.html

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!
(Envision Snoopy, in ‘A Charlie Brown Christmas’)
PaMom...doing her ‘happy dance.’
Yes!!!
You're out of your mind! This is exactly the right move she need to make to rachet up her public profile even more. Heck, this deal is precisely what many have been clamoring for on FR, and now I'm seeing negative posts like this?
Damned if she does, and damned if she doesn't I guess.
Who says she’s in a box? She’s going to be a contributor, not running the entire network, leaving her free to do lots of other important things, like help get Conservatives elected.
I sincerely hope you are correct. I was wrong about her appearing on Oprah, which did turn out to be a good move. Heh, not only do I hope your expectations are accurate, I hope mine are wrong!
She has certainly demonstrated a LOT of fencing ability and innovative thinking so far.
