Former Gov. Sarah Palin of Alaska has signed on as a contributor to the Fox News Channel.
The network confirmed that Ms. Palin will appear on the networks programming on a regular basis as part of a multi-year deal. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Ms. Palin will not have her own regular program, one person familiar with the deal said, though she will host an occasional series that will run on the network from time to time. This person would not elaborate, but the network does have a precedent for such a series. Oliver L. North is the host of an occasionally running documentary series on the military called War Stories.
Many suspected that when Ms. Palin retired as the governor of Alaska last summer she was doing so to pursue some sort of career in television. The Fox News deal, however, would not seem to be all encompassing, and would appear to give her room for other pursuits, as well.

Now lets watch the left attack her while she has Fox behind her and a pulpit from which to speak the truth.
The price of putty in siberia is now skyrocketing along with chinese rice.
Wether or not she runs for president, will not negate the damage control she will cause the left to have to counter,
with on the Sunday talk circuit.
Good move Sarah you go get em.
Agreed.
Sarah if you’re listening, I have two words you must imprint in your brain for 2012:
Jim DeMint. Say it with me out loud.

Beats a gov's salary.
Were you part of McCain’s campaign staff? LOL!
When Fox’s ratings soar when Palin is on “unexpectedly”, “surprisingly”, “suspiciously” and “unfairly” will be talking point words from the dems and the state controlled media.
I predict more demrats, and RINOs, will be deserting the Onada’s commie ship.
Heck, I was broken hearted Megn just had her first child without me. Still havent got over that.
I was responding to a ‘Sarah is a babe’ comment where Megn beats her easily (my opinion anyway.) If they were casting the Mom character for a remake of Little House on the Praire or the Walton's, , then Sarah would be my pick too,
Sarah on the Hallmark Channel vs Megn the Babe attorney on FNC!
He does seem somewhat smarmy. A good word to describe his delivery style. I have been surprised by his actual content at times. He can be much tougher than I thought on some subjects.
GO SARAH!
You’re very welcome, Interested FReeper!
When new in the business, one had better tread carefully, eh?
I agree with your husband and good luck to Sarah, which means, good luck to the country!
Haven’t you seen that all their brains are scattered on the floor?
The meme for this week was supposedly: PALIN the anti-CPAC Queen and Palin and her lying books courtesy of Schmidtidiot.
She just pushed the meme. Obama and his WH Strategists, together with the lying MSM, are now working on a NEW MEME:
PALIN NOT A PRESIDENTIAL MATERIAL DUE TO PAID-IN COMMENTARY.
Funny, both Nixon and Reagan were “damaged” politicians and paid-in commentators (one in TV and the other on Radio) before they WON big in the Presidential elections.
Sarah Palin! You’re definitely not REAGAN! You didn’t choose RADIO ... you chose TV!
Waiting for the FIRST APPEARANCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PS: RUN, SARAH, RUN! ROMNEY NOMINATION EXACTLY MEANS TWO TERMS FOR OBAMAO. [A man with no “national’ charisma will never WIN a presidential election.]
You fellas overlook one thing. Sarah does not eat seconds. And after her experience with McBipartisan, I don’t believe she will trust anyone to carry her water.
Or is this wishful thinking on your parts?
I knew she wasn’t going to run. She QUIT midstream in Alaska when the going got tough. I do like her, but she is not cut out to lead the military.
Interestingly, I was watching Discovery Channel’s SEAL documentary last week and how was amazed at how many of them quit due to the hardship. One winter they had a 100% dropout rate. I recall the BUD/S drill instructor yelling “we dont want any quitters here!”.
Isn’t the POTUS position a more important job than a SEAL operator?
Exactly. In fact it's an easy way to get free publicity, keep your hand in the political arena without drawing fire. Folks ask Huckabee all the time if he's running in 2012 and he replies: I've got such a sweet gig here. I'll have to think about that one some more. I'll get back to you in a few YEARS! Sarah will do the same. It's a brilliant move on everybody's part. Of course the RATs will go berserk. But that's all part of the festivities.
God Bless you, Bellflower! You're exactly right.
"May The LORD help her every step of the way!" AMEN!
READ my tag line..Don’t worry Sarah I believe in you!!!!
YAWN!!!!! Oh, please do tell how this tells you she isn’t running?
BTW, all of you claim “Oh, I like her but...”
Where is Joe Wilson when we need him!!
That doesnt sound like declaring for the presidency to me.Exactly. IMHO when she stepped down as Governer of Alaska, and the comments she made at that time, it was clear that she was going to pursue some sort of party PR or media talking head position.
I'm happy for her, and hope that she can do some good for the cause in that role. Obviously those who were hoping for her to run for President will be disappointed. Personally, while I think she's a fantastic person with a great personal story, I don't think she had the abilities to run that particular gauntlet. We need someone that won't be shaken up by a few biased questions from intellectual lightweights like Katie Couric.
You guys are so funny!!!
Keep it up!
