Barack Obama Nationality Scandal
Independant News ^ | January 9, 2010

Posted on 01/09/2010 1:34:54 PM PST by Red Steel

There have been rumbles of unrest around the world regarding Obama’s nationality since the day he stated he would run for the presidency. Now, after more than a year as president of the USA, the rumbles have turned into a full on eruption.

The Barack Obama nationality scandal is refusing to burn itself out and seems to be gathering even more speed with Congressman Nathan Deal questioning the eligibility of Obama to hold the presidency. This is the first time in history that a serving president has been questioned about eligibility by a member of congress.

Over the last week the internet has been reporting this story with the blogosphere almost going into meltdown over the latest developments yet no mainstream media seem interested in the story that just won’t go away for Obama.

Congressman Deal asked the president to prove that he is legally entitled to hold the presidency electronically on December 1st 2009. This communication was confirmed received by Obama’s staff but has yet to be responded to.

Even though the president has already produced his short-form birth certificate in order to stop these questions, he has spent a large amount of taxpayers money (estimated to be more than two million dollars) ensuring that the long-form certificate is kept from the public – an action that has raised more than a few eyebrows along the way.

Throughout the campaign trail and longer, Obama made promises of the most transparent administration than any other so why the need to hide a simple birth certificate? Many claim that the whole situation is a complete waste of time and distracting but supporters of the question refuse to stop asking more and more questions.

It seems that the original question seems to have caused a stir not just in America but worldwide with thousands of people doing independent research in an attempt to get the facts out. The problem with independent research is that it is hard to verify where the alleged facts came from and when they are traced back its not unusual to find that it stemmed from opinion.

With several birth certificates doing the rounds, many proven as hoaxes, the ‘official’ birth certificate in the Obama nationality scandal seems to prove that the president was in fact a British Subject at birth. On the website dedicated to protecting Obama from smears, Fight The Smears, there is an electronic copy of the birth certificate showing that Obama was born a British Subject. This in itself has been the cause for much speculation on how, why and when nationality was transferred.

Obama’s nationality scandal doesn’t seem to be going anywhere at the moment and even the secret service seem to be taking an interest in anyone questioning Obama’s nationality with visits being made for security reasons. Reported last week at Mother Jones, more and more people who have raised issue are being visited by the secret service and being left feeling very intimidated.

No matter what side of the fence you sit on this scandal seems set to stay around for a long time to come.

I think they knew what was required in making the statement, with all the "hullaballoo" going on, in order to make it absolutely clear and unmistakeable... :-)

I don't buy that. She says that for some other reason to "CYA"!!!

Whatever one may think of Obama, this Pakistan travel issue is a complete fabrication that has been disproven repeatedly. There was never a ban on US citizens traveling to Pakistan in 1981, and Pakistan never refused to allow entry with a US passport. I've dredged up a few of the links people have provided in the past.

Archived New York Times Pakistan travelogue from 1981:

http://www.nytimes.com/1981/06/14/travel/lahore-a-survivor-with-a-bittersweet-history.html?scp=1&sq=lahore%20travel%201981&st=cse

In response to that article, also in 1981, a US consular official responded inviting Americans to visit Pakistan:

http://www.nytimes.com/1981/08/23/travel/l-lahore-243000.html?sec=&spon=&scp=3&sq=lahore%20travel%201981&st=cse

Free 30-day visas were apparently the norm.

Here's an archived State Department travel advisory from 1981 discussing Visa issues:

http://dosfan.lib.uic.edu/ERC/travel/cis/southasia/TA_Pakistan1981.pdf

I believe some Freepers have even stated they traveled to Pakistan on a US passport in 1981, or knew people who did.

This is a dry hole. It simply is not true.

Hitler had his Gestapo, and Obama is transforming the Secret Service into a similar organization.

Just because we are asking questions about his Constitutional validity as President does not allow the Communist Kenyan ANY right to intimidate the American people with the damn Secret Service.

I will just refer to them as the damn SS from this point forward.

I’m betting that after he is out of office,

In thirty or forty years

Kenya will announce he was, in fact, born there.

I can't remember if a member of Congress joined in the challenge, but out 21st president's place of birth was challenged: Chester A Arthur, Eh?

No member of Congress, but as may be the case with BHO, the place of birth may turn out to be a complete Red Herring, in this case very Red indeed. It's the citizenship status of their fathers when they were born that was/is the real problem.

In CAA's case, he kept that hidden. BHO trumpeted it to the world.

Now. I heard that Obama went to Pakistan at a time when Pakistan would not allow Americans to go there with US Passports. Does anybody know if this is true?

It's not true, that Pakistan banned travel for US passport holders. The US State department advised US citizens not to travel there at that time, but the Paki's welcomed anyone with $$. Still it would have been much safer to travel on an Indonesian passport or a Kenyan one for that matter.

Haven’t seen ST get around to it yet but, it’s not that he doesn’t care but feels it is a lost cause. He is working on an initiative in his home state that will require proof of qualification and the ability to investigate bonafides.

His idea is that it is okay that other want to make this a battle but he has been telling people to change the state requirements for proof and give someone responsibility and authority to prove someone is qualified.

Post on.

Well if he traveled on a Indonesian passport (The most likely foreign passport if he didn’t use an American one.) He wouldn’t need anyone’s help to get into Pakistan; Indonesia another Muslim nation would have no objections or constraints and neither would Pakistan.

“I, Dr. Chiyome Fukino, Director of the Hawai‛i State Department of Health, have seen the original vital records maintained on file by the Hawai‘i State Department of Health verifying Barack Hussein Obama was born in Hawai‘i and is a natural-born American citizen

The only way a birth certificate could verify natural born status would be if they had the citizenship of the parents on them. The 1961 Hawaii BC has their birthplaces, but not their citizenship.

She (and others) can read blogs as well as you can and they know how those certain bloggers think (and what they could "make hay" with). Leave out the word "American" and watch the blogs crank up big-time... LOL.

With that statement, I think you would be a good candidate for a thought-police!

You don't know a squad about what Fukino is thinking and neither do I!!

Still the press release was was spattered with terminologies not used in the "Real World" of yours!!!
