There have been rumbles of unrest around the world regarding Obama’s nationality since the day he stated he would run for the presidency. Now, after more than a year as president of the USA, the rumbles have turned into a full on eruption.
The Barack Obama nationality scandal is refusing to burn itself out and seems to be gathering even more speed with Congressman Nathan Deal questioning the eligibility of Obama to hold the presidency. This is the first time in history that a serving president has been questioned about eligibility by a member of congress.
Over the last week the internet has been reporting this story with the blogosphere almost going into meltdown over the latest developments yet no mainstream media seem interested in the story that just won’t go away for Obama.
Congressman Deal asked the president to prove that he is legally entitled to hold the presidency electronically on December 1st 2009. This communication was confirmed received by Obama’s staff but has yet to be responded to.
Even though the president has already produced his short-form birth certificate in order to stop these questions, he has spent a large amount of taxpayers money (estimated to be more than two million dollars) ensuring that the long-form certificate is kept from the public – an action that has raised more than a few eyebrows along the way.
Throughout the campaign trail and longer, Obama made promises of the most transparent administration than any other so why the need to hide a simple birth certificate? Many claim that the whole situation is a complete waste of time and distracting but supporters of the question refuse to stop asking more and more questions.
It seems that the original question seems to have caused a stir not just in America but worldwide with thousands of people doing independent research in an attempt to get the facts out. The problem with independent research is that it is hard to verify where the alleged facts came from and when they are traced back its not unusual to find that it stemmed from opinion.
With several birth certificates doing the rounds, many proven as hoaxes, the ‘official’ birth certificate in the Obama nationality scandal seems to prove that the president was in fact a British Subject at birth. On the website dedicated to protecting Obama from smears, Fight The Smears, there is an electronic copy of the birth certificate showing that Obama was born a British Subject. This in itself has been the cause for much speculation on how, why and when nationality was transferred.
Obama’s nationality scandal doesn’t seem to be going anywhere at the moment and even the secret service seem to be taking an interest in anyone questioning Obama’s nationality with visits being made for security reasons. Reported last week at Mother Jones, more and more people who have raised issue are being visited by the secret service and being left feeling very intimidated.
No matter what side of the fence you sit on this scandal seems set to stay around for a long time to come.
I'm not going to pretend to know, but sometimes the answer is not the darkest conspiracy ... it is the most simple: there is absolutely nothing that requires him to release the info. He is sitting in the oval office and has been for a year and he strikes me as one smug SOB. It is also most likely that the ones demanding the BC would just find something else to complain about.

You are right. It simply doesn’t get any more definitive than that. They have the original documentation. They have the electronic database from which current certificates are printed. They’ve looked at their records and state uncategorically that Obama was born in Hawaii. Absent some real, compelling evidence that they are lying, no court would need or ask to see the original birth certificate even if one of these cases ever got to that point, which they won’t.

I read blogs and post to a few but I don’t discuss this with people unless they bring it up. I have had lifelong Democrat folks bring it up to me. So, I think it is a much bigger issue than many realize. Not just his birth certificate but all the stuff he says and does that just doesn’t make any sense.
Others on previous threads have postulated that it would not be such a danger for an “Indonesian” to travel to Pakistan. Americans otoh cautioned against it.
The info and source has been posted. Seems if you wanted to know so badly you would research it.

Hawaii says they’ve seen the original they didn’t say he was born there. If you look up the thread from the past couple days regarding Hawaii law at the time of O’s dob.

Sounds like common sense thinking. However I will ALWAYS remember a tyrant dictator, also with the name HUSSEIN, who spent years overtly hiding WMD from the world community that now, according to the common wisdom of today's elites, he didn't have.
After that fiasco NOTHING will ever surprise me again, including the fascist in office fighting tooth an nail to prevent all of US from seeing a birth certificate that just may prove he was born in Hawaii.

You cannot hold the Nationality of ANY other Nation other than that of American in the instant of your birth and be a Natural Born Citizen.

What it means is that Obama was using his Indonesian passport. Since he was a naturalized citizen of Indonesia. Hence the name Barry Soetoro.
In the end, what is at issue with this is: if he used an Indonesian passport after the age of 18, then it was a conscious decision and he is no longer a citizen of the USA.
What's key here is that if we assume that Barry was born in Hawaii as stated, he was dragged off to Indonesia by his muslim loving mother, and renounced his citizenship as a minor. His US citizenship could/should be restored if after the age of majority if he decided to assert his US citizenship.
Now, what does him using his Indonesian passport have to do with anything? I would think that using that passport for travel after the age of 18 he has given his consent to the renouncing of his US citizenship. A minor cannot renounce their citizenship, it can only be done for them by a parent. And even then, when that minor reaches the age of majority they have to choose. And by using that passport to travel to places that he would be barred entry on a US passport means that he chose to renounce his citizenship.
Now if we assume that Barry was born in Hawaii, renounced his citizenship and then had a change of heart, and wanted to reclaim his US citizenship, would he still qualify as natural born? I don't know the answer to that but it is complicated to say the least. I would think that he is no longer considered eligible because he's not natural born but naturalized.
