For a party that should be coasting to victory in a Senate election they never lose, the Democrats seems mighty worried about the prospects of the hand-picked replacement for Ted Kennedy. A few weeks ago, no one would have thought for a moment that Republican Scott Brown would come within 20 points of Martha Coakley, the Kennedy family-approved heir to the “Liberal Lion’s” seat in the US Senate. Yesterday, Democrats got so rattled that they began speaking openly of keeping Brown out of the Senate for as long as they could once he wins:

I don’t think they’re worried. They’re just playing a game with us.

Agree. Dems OWN Massachusetts and more’s the pity. It is a beautiful state.

They will cheat, as always, and win no matter what happens. We know their tactics, why do we always sit back and let them do it again?

They better be worried. The Moocher base is still having to pay electric bills and buy their own gas. No Freebies No vote!

No matter what happens, there is one irrefutable bright side to all of this...the vacant seat belonged to Ded Kennedy (D-HELL) who is now here he truly belongs...I hope the seat goes to a R who votes down this grotesque “monument” to the Liberal Lyin’ of the Senate...he will be looking up as it gets defeated, seated, cold sober, unable to get a drink, between Dick Nixon and a beautiful lesbian who has no interest in men...

Like Hugh Hewitt says: if it's not close, they can't cheat.

If it's polling around the margin of error, expect massive voting irregularities that would make even the Chicago dead voters jealous....

Too bad the Republican Stooges blew a million on Scozzafava. If they hadn’t, maybe they could have given it to Scott Brown.

Oh, by the way, is the party doing anything to help Brown out? If so, I’m still waiting to hear about it.

Its a long shot, but the poetry or irony or whatever you want to call it, would be sweet. I contributed directly this morning.

The NRSC has been making calls and has done some fundraising. They aren’t doing a lot of in your face promotion, which may be good there being a mostly Dem state.

Enough you naysayers! I just got off Scott Brown’s site and donated some money (wish I could donate more but Crap my taxes are skyrocketing this year!).

Stop whining and do something. You remind me of the Scottish wimps who were deserting until Braveheart rhetorically kicked their asses.

When you’ve got Joseph Kennedy running as an independent...siphoning off enough dem votes...Brown could very well pull this off. ;o)

I agree. There is no way to win a battle if you don’t show up to fight. GOTV can win this Senate race.

The problem is that Kennedy is trying to claim he is a tea party candidate and there has been a push on the left to try to split our side with Kennedy.

Brown was endorsed by the Tea Party express.

Kennedy is nothing but a Democrat/Independent, code pinko, pro-abort.

IMHO, he is a trojan horse.

Massachusetts sent that raping, murdering Ted Kennedy to the Senate for 40 years.

No, they’re not worried.
