Per FNC -Norad launched 2 fighter jets- Tyndall AFB, unruly passenger Muhammad Abu Tahir (#145)

Posted on 01/08/2010 1:25:46 PM PST by STARWISE

Neil Cavuto just read news crossing the wire.

Two fighter jets were launched by NORAD from Tyndall AFB in FL due to an issue with an unruly passenger on an Air Tran flight from Atlanta to San Francisco.

Hopefully, more follows soon.

Plane has landed at Colorado Springs airport.

A young man was taken into custody after the flight was diverted.

The man was thought to be intoxicated and locked himself in the bathroom.

The crew radioed the situation, and the fighters were launched.

Everyone's safe on the flight .. the passenger is in custody.

Don .... I wonder how the Falcons were armed. Was this just a show of force or were they ready to pop a sidewinder into the 737?

These attacks or “unruly” Muslim passengers are popping up EVERY DAY! This never happened under Bush. But now that the big 0 is in, domestic cells surface and airline incidents start happening. Something big is coming. It’ll probably come out of a cell in Yemen. The Vancouver Olympics are coming up....

You think that rumor that there are going to be 25 pantybomber attacks may be real? Good thing we let that terrorist lawyer up!

Pray for America’s Safety

Announced on FOX that the CIA bomber in Afganistan detinated the bomb just as he was about to be searched.

If the Jets were on air defense alert, likely they were armed with AIM-120, AMRAAMs.

So instead of profiling Arabs , the contingency plan is to shoot down a commercial passenger plane and kill about 300 innocents

just in case that plane may be headed for a Capitol building somewhere in order to save some precious politicians

please please please make it the white house or halls of congress and not a sports stadium or school

“Abu”

I still have to wonder if half these problems would stop if muzzies stopped letting their babies name themselves

“tried to kill a Saudi prince (using) a bomb .... inside his rectum”

I wonder what that sounded like?

“Allahu akbar!!”

(Muffled BOOM!)

SPLURPPP!! (as the prince is drenched with human burgerbits)

“Cleanup on Aisle Five!!”

;^)

How close is Tyndall to this flight? There’s nothing that can scramble a jet there that’s closer?

_______________________________________________

Why even scramble a jet? What is the fighter going to do but shoot the plane down? The guy was in the bathroom, not the cockpit.

This is more TSA CYA and a huge waste of money.

This is another test of our security system and another diversion. While our government is focusing on the airlines, the terrorists could very well be setting up an entirely different attack.

“I remember all the cheering and excitement when a guy parachuted into a ballpark during a baseball game.

sigh.........more innocent times.”

Hey, Carley, I was at that game! I was a Met season ticket holder and was there with my son for Game 6 of the 1986 World Series against Boston.

Here comes this guy out of the night sky...nobody knew what to make of it.

That was the Buckner/Mookie game - greatest I ever saw.

Under the Hussein Obama Administration, I would guess that ragheads and towelheads get “Carte Blanche” when it comes to either boarding, or flying on, US Airliners. Appeasement is the name of the game with the Obama Admn.

No Mets fan will ever forget that game.

Lucky lucky you.........I am sooo jealous.

We’ve been to City Field this year. One of the few games the Mets won. Saw a couple of home runs........

sigh.......the good old days.

They pegged Obama as a friend. That’s different.

At the beginning of the campaign, various Muslim nutcases began to issue statements supporting Obama. Then I recall reading one post that quoted something from an ME source where they realized that this was counterproductive, and that most Americans would not vote for somebody praised by, say, Osama. At that point, they began to go into their hate-the-great-Satan-doesn’t-matter-who’s-president song and dance.

It’s called taqiya, lying to the infidel for the purposes of Islam. They know he’s on their side - the fact that he got through his supposed major speech with never once saying the words “Islamic terrorism” is a pretty good clue - and he knows they know. All is well in Muslim land.

I noticed on the news that it was an F-16. I guess the capabilities of an F-22 are really not needed to shoot down an airliner.
