9 is too young to be a mother anyway.

There’s nothing wrong with having 9 kids in a healthy marriage! :)

But this woman obviously has mental problems. To top it all off she has a hereditary disease.

She’s an idiot, no doubt, but idiot or not, forcing sterilization on someone is evil....

This is troubling.

Yes, this woman is the extreme example and logically should have been dealt with...

but if the courts or social services or whoever can do this to loonies it can do it to ANYBODY.

‘It’s my choice’

Not exactly, sister. If my taxes pay for your SSI and welfare, I think I should get a say in how you conduct yourself.

This one want a lawsuit. I doubt if they did actually sterilize her “against her will”.

Her fiance is a personal care assistant? At best he makes between $8 and $12 an hour. Course I guess with welfare of what, about $500 a month per child, food stamps, a Hud rental, and his "comfortable" income, they are living high on the hog. And is she getting child support from any of the other sperm donors?

They just need a teensy bit more for which a lawsuit settlement will help.

And these companies need to stop settling these frivolous lawsuits. Her first with CVS, she used (if, in fact, she really did use it) an expired spermicide. She's playin' the system like a fiddle.

I think it is great that she wants to take responsibility for her life, including her ability to reproduce.

Therefore she certainly realizes that taking responsibility also means no longer accepting govt payments.

Reproductive rights have nothing to do with this.

This woman is mentally ill.

This is telling:

‘THIS IS MY BODY’: Tessa SAVICKI, shown above in her Springfield home with children, from left, Destiny TIRADO, Jassalyn Tirado, Julian TORRES-LEBRON and Manuel FLORES is suing Baystate Medical Center

But she’s not jumping from guy to guy getting pregnant....

>>Savicki has nine children from several men, is unemployed and relies on public assistance for two of the four children

>>‘It’s my choice’

...to live off other people’s money.

>>Savicki acknowledged that some may feel little sympathy for her situation, but cautioned against public judgment because she is a poor, unmarried mother of 9.

I am sick to death of these feral humans saying “don’t be judgin’ me” and then expecting people to pay for their lifestyle choices. She needed a .22 caliber sterilization years ago.

>>“I take care of my kids.

No. You. Don’t!

  1. No doctor should be able to autonomously make a decision to sterilize someone without their consent, unless medically necessary. That should take legislation and oversight by a judge. The woman should win her lawsuit, if she did not ask for this.
  2. Only 2 of her kids are on public assistance. Why only two? Is it something like Social Security Survivor Benefits, payable in the event of the death of a parent, regardless of income? If so, that's an entitlement, that I wouldn't call public assistance. That's a right, an insurance company payout, even if the government is the insurance company. How are the other kids fed? The woman claims to be taking care of them, maybe she is?
  3. If the woman has lymphoma, having more children is irresponsible.
  4. However, the Muslims would pop out little terrorists regardless of how poor and sad their sand flee bitten lives would be. And as long as the west has open borders to them, they'll never have an incentive to stop.
  5. Shades of "Idiocracy". The dumb multiply like rabbits, while the intelligent limit their reproduction, resulting in the degradation of the general human intelligence.

If a woman continues to have child after chld on welfare, there should be a law requiring her to be sterilized.

I agree with her that it is her "choice" to have as many babies as she wants. What I do not agree with is being made, via the cash stolen from me in the form of taxes, to be used to care for her or her children.
Scripture teaches us that if a man (or woman for that matter) doesn't work they do NOT eat. Simple. Her children are her responsibility. She should be made to take care of them. Should a child die due to her neglect she goes to jail and walla, no more bastard children being produced by her.

I'm sick of all this government involvement in family affairs. I love children with all my heart, I have four of my own, but I do not believe anyone has any business telling a parent how to care for and raise their children and I don't believe the general public should be forced to do so. Child protection services need to go the way of the dinosaur and leave the raising of children to those whom God has entrusted with their upbringing... THEIR PARENTS.

I know... Too simple and oh.... How cold eh?
