Two of the four leaders allegedly behind the al Qaeda plot to blow up a Northwest Airlines passenger jet over Detroit were released by the U.S. from the Guantanamo prison in November, 2007, ABC News is reporting, quoting American officials and citing Department of Defense documents.

Of course, the Liberal take on this will be that if the US hadn’t been so mean to them while they were at Gitmo, they wouldn’t had to retaliate in the first place!
A step up from license plates...
I believe that the bigger point here is that Obama and his yahoos on the left want to release all of them.
Of course he was. They are all innocent down there donchaknow (sarc of course)
Bull cookies! The dems own this one. The terrorists father went to the American Embassy SIX MONTHS AGO (Hint: Obama was President) with information of his sons Islamic radicalization. Incompetano should resign immediately.
You are absolutely right. They should have been interrogated on the spot and then given the right treatment and you know what that is. No need for Gitmo.

I wonder if anyone has called Bob Ross for a comment. “happy trees, happy bushes”
Of course they are. The same idiots who were screaming for their release, closure of the prison and granting constitutional rights for the terrorist scum for the better part of eight years are suddenly hardliners. Who didn't see that coming?
Uh, Moe. Look at the timeline of attacks on the US from 1993-2001 (8+), 2001-2008 (zero after 9/11), and now 2 in 2009 after his term ended. Yeah, dude, Bush was a real failure.

It was a loaded question. There wasn't any.
You can’t be serious.
Why would anyone be surprised about this story? There is a fairly long list now of former Gitmo residents who were later encountered on the battlefield, or are known to have resumed their terrorist ways in some capacity. The Bush administration released a couple of hundred or more over the years.
This story only reaffirms how stupid the release policy has been all along, and how much more stupid closing Gitmo is.
Me either. Totally busted my BS meter!
I didn’t know he was dead. My grandmother used to watch him on PBS when I was a kid. He always creeped me out.
Bomb design COULD be an art......right?......
