Why Does Interpol Need Immunity from American Law? [Andy McCarthy]
You just can't make up how brazen this crowd is. One week ago, President Obama quietly signed an executive order that makes an international police force immune from the restraints of American law.
Interpol is the shorthand for the International Criminal Police Organization. It was established in 1923 and operates in about 188 countries. By executive order 12425, issued in 1983, President Reagan recognized Interpol as an international organization and gave it some of the privileges and immunities customarily extended to foreign diplomats. Interpol, however, is also an active law-enforcement agency, so critical privileges and immunities (set forth in Section 2(c) of the International Organizations Immunities Act) were withheld. Specifically, Interpol's property and assets remained subject to search and seizure, and its archived records remained subject to public scrutiny under provisions like the Freedom of Information Act. Being constrained by the Fourth Amendment, FOIA, and other limitations of the Constitution and federal law that protect the liberty and privacy of Americans is what prevents law-enforcement and its controlling government authority from becoming tyrannical.
On Wednesday, however, for no apparent reason, President Obama issued an executive order removing the Reagan limitations. That is, Interpol's property and assets are no longer subject to search and confiscation, and its archives are now considered inviolable. This international police force (whose U.S. headquarters is in the Justice Department in Washington) will be unrestrained by the U.S. Constitution and American law while it operates in the United States and affects both Americans and American interests outside the United States.
Interpol works closely with international tribunals (such as the International Criminal Court which the United States has refused to join because of its sovereignty surrendering provisions, though top Obama officials want us in it). It also works closely with foreign courts and law-enforcement authorities (such as those in Europe that are investigating former Bush administration officials for purported war crimes i.e., for actions taken in America's defense).
Why would we elevate an international police force above American law? Why would we immunize an international police force from the limitations that constrain the FBI and other American law-enforcement agencies? Why is it suddenly necessary to have, within the Justice Department, a repository for stashing government files which, therefore, will be beyond the ability of Congress, American law-enforcement, the media, and the American people to scrutinize?

It may not be much longer. One thing the past 8 years has given us is a whole 'nother layer of trained fighters/sharpshooters - and 'Oath Takers" = along with commanders
obummer and gang have been positing how to overcome posse comitatus - and have somewhat settled on putting the Private 'Security' Force under the umbrella of the U. S. Marshall's.
This, however, would be even more untouchable - and with his foot soldiers from among the ranks of A'orn and the other 'community' groups, let loose under an untouchable, unanswerable outfit -Interpol - made up from other countries...well, none of them would have any problem attacking We the People.
WE live in dangerous times. And it looks like we're going to have to fight.
"FIX BAYONETS" it will be. (They'd be wise to listen to what the Japanese said about attacking US mainland = "There's a gun behind every blade of grass.")
So Interpol can deputize your local police and they don’t have to obey U.S. law any more?
Would they have immunity from prosecution?
Well, I'm wondering just how accurate the ACORN folks would be while shooting with the weapon held sideways? However, I agree with your post.
I have always wondered why movies show that. Who wants hot empties flying straight up (and possibly back and down the collar!) when they're trying to neutralize a hot target?
Just more media-fueled flight from reality.
You do realise that Tojo or whatever his name is this week, has no constitutional authority to make anyone immune from the restraints of American law. The very best he can do is to issue a pardon after the court system finds the ofender guilty.
By virtue of this declaration, any information that Interpol may have on political operatives or elected officials in the US — including SEIU president Andy Stern, domestic terrorist Bill Ayers and President Obama himself — would be immune from any attempts to bring the information to light.
Here is a duel reason!!!
“Is the American hauled off to the Haig or ICC with approval from the U.S. government?”

That’s the problem when the rule of law is abandoned; whatever seems good at the time takes its place. We cannot now say what would happen, and this has a chilling effect on our activities.
FWIW, I’ve always thought the Hague would be a perfect royal or imperial palace. The High Court meets in what would be the Chapel (sitting in place of the altar, of course). They meet in silk robes with long Calvinist collars, and, I believe, white wigs. There is something painfully beautiful in the continuance of the forms after the animating spirit is passed. It is a pageant of spectres whose glory is silenced.
There was a hypothesis out there that interpol had info on Zero (specifically his documentation and travels) that needed to be expunged or otherwise permanently hidden ... lest he be found to be a muslim, kenyan, wannabe marxist dictator.
Has anyone found / heard more on this rumor?

No, not anywhere but FReep, unfortunately...
FWIW, I’ll buy it as an explanation.
I think this has to do with future War Crimes Trials of previous leaders and officers.

Ouch! I should have thought of that!!!
Pure and simple this move is one of many a step they must make to achieve their goal of One World Government.
Look for more clues towards that direction as the Obama misAdministration rolls along destroying the Sovereignty of America.
He’s doing just as he is told to do by his masters.
Thank you for this information of which I was unaware and basically thoght that Interpol has a file(s) on Oba-Hussein which is now buried beyond reach. But not of the States. ONe of which should put in a request based on Freedom of Information (or is THAT federal only and blocked) or as an investigation and see what they know in Europe about our American Oba-Khomeini
When a majority of US military and police refuse to turn on the American people and “commander zero’s” “people’s army” gets routed he will need to request troops from the UN Socialist Security Force to put down those pesky American insurrectionists.
Keep your guns clean, your magazines loaded, and your powder dry.
FARS (I never fail to pay attention to the information in your pings), this is a serious and most intriguing development. It puts an international law enforcement agency beyond the reach of American law. So of course we ask ourselves why.
They have their US office within the Justice Department. That would mean that documents and other information could be transferred to their custody and become beyond the reach of anyone in the US. What would it be that the administration might not want anyone to have access to?
If there was proof of treasonous activity, it could be concealed. Inappropriate contacts, deals with foreign governments not friendly to the US, a new Oil for Food. Something more sinister and dangerous? This will require the cooperation of the people in Interpol, but who are they?
Some think it is an effort to get the prior administration prosecuted in an international forum. I am dubious about that because it would cause a revolt in this country, not that these people don’t have a tin ear. But that tin. I doubt it. This is about something else. I just don’t know what.

Just got through cleaning and oiling a few “home security” items a few days ago...Guess I need a few more, in light of this information and the questionable intentions behind the new E.O.

“has no constitutional authority to make anyone immune from the restraints of American law.”
He gave them “diplomatic immunity”. Of course a court could ask under what dimplomatic mission they operate and find none and tehn hang them, but I imagine Zero’s AG won’t even bother. The local yokels had best arrest these foreigners and charge them.
