“During his first three seasons, his run-ins with the law included drug charges, to gun possession and, DUI. He served jail time for drinking in a Covington hotel room with underage girls.”

I don’t think you understand if you’re not a fan of the Bengals, but this guy really did try to turn his life around. He was staying out of trouble, getting married, and raising his three children whom he loved very much.

If we cannot say anything nice, THERE WOULDN’T BE A THREAD.
This guy was trouble a long way coming, and the person who “turned his life around” may have ended up killing him.
Sad.
And stupid.
Sad. If this guy couldn’t catch a football I shudder to think what he would have been doing. But it looks like not even pro football could keep this kid out of trouble. Sorry for his kids.
has anyone blamed Bush yet?
As a lifelong Bengals fan, I am saddened by this news. I was not a fan of the criminal element and when they brought him back in 2007, I thought it was a bad idea.
He did take advantage of his last chance and seemed to be turning his life around. My heart breaks for his children.
This guy, with a rap sheet half a mile long (five arrests in two years for drug charges, gun possession and DUI. He served jail time for drinking in a Covington hotel room with underage girls), definitely had a checkered past. He was killed after jumping into the bed of a pickup of his fiancee (who was driving) with whom he was having a fight.
Too bad he died, but if had lived maybe he would have learned that it wasn’t always about him.
So sad....three children without their dad....
So very sad. GO CHARGERS!
Prayers for his three young children, his family, friends, and teammates.
Have you seen his fiancée’s MySpace page? Please.
This is a sad story. I think he was trying to turn his life around and was preparing for a wedding. This is the twitter post from his teammate Chad Ochocinco:
I’ve never prayed this way before where its come to tears, please continue your prayers for my boy Chris (Slim) Henry! I love you bruh

Sorry, but it's the sad, simple truth.
Irregardless of his past, it is so sad when someone dies so young. Prayers for his family and friends. . .
