I am not sure any GOP Senator has the ability to let any one ‘off the hook’ when it comes to the voters anger with BOTH the Dems AND the GOP...

Moron...

You cannot let someone off the hook when you do not have the power to do so in the first place.

In the the first place, this asswipe GOP RINO Senator doesn't speak for the 'voter'. He like most of them up there haven't 'spoken' for the voter in the last 10 years.

God Damn them.

Yes he is.

George Bush’s “Read my lips, no new taxes” should be burned in every single conservatives brain forever more.

The dims double crossed him and got rid of him over it.

The rinos have learned nothing and are headed down the same path.

The point is it is not this RINOS job to not hold the left up against the wall for the h*ll they have created.
Voters will be angry at voting time (2010) and if they create this debt reduction (all show do nothing) commission, they can say in Nov. see we are trying! They will not be able to blame Bush so they need to come up with some smoke and mirrors stuff so the unknowing will buy their BS.

Appointing “commissions”, or “study groups”, or “blue ribbon panels” is nothing more than cowardice. They serve no other purpose than providing political cover. Most of the time they produce nothing but vaporware. On the odd chance that a “commission”might come up with a good idea, it still has to be voted on and implemented, and the chances of that in the current political climate are next to nothing.

No context given in this article.

The exact question posed to Gregg is not even mentioned.

This is the bull that the Brookings Institute came up with, it is a liberal’s dream.

The Constitution should be our guide, the Federal Government shouldn’t be doing 75% of the crap they are doing.
