Dr. Henry M. Morris founded the Institute for Creation Research in 1970 with a vision to uncover and present evidence for the accuracy and authority of the Bible. For almost 40 years, ICR has distinguished itself as the leader in creation science research and education, ably assisted by the many fine scientists whom God has led to work here. These men and women have dedicated their training and skills to raising the banner for the truth of our Creator God. We would like you to meet our current on-site scientists and hear their thoughts on the purpose, significance, and importance of the creation science research they do...

I guess your claim to agree to dissagree agreably wasnt really heartfelt after all eh? forgive me- I misread once again- guess I shoulda read between the liens i nthe other thread-I was willing to "agree to disagree" early on in that thread. I never saw anything that looked like an agreement. Did I miss reading that between those lines somewhere?

Taste in humor is a person thing. Lots of people used to think Sam Kennison was funny, but I never cared for him.

Why didn’t you tell the whole truth and stop with
“I have a hard time picturing God”
period.

Wow. It’s been decades since I listened to any Firesign Theater. Now they were funny.

"It should also be pointed out, that one of xcamels replies over at DC said she was invited over there by a mod who shall not be named." It's not surprising that there are many mods who share a belief in Darwinism and actively work to suppress any criticism of their beliefs. I have seen mods suppress a lot of content on what appeared to be purely personal grounds.
If the articles you post weren't hitting home, they wouldn't be attacking you. They 'rage' for a reason.

Conservatives, even very religious conservatives, should have no reluctance to engage in spirited discussions anywhere. Yeah but spirited conversations about what? Pre- or post-processed horse poop, for instance???
Plus notice this thoroughly disdainful, unappealing comment: "You don't even have to pass an intelligence test, although it would probably help." Really nice way to invite "even a very religious conservative" to become a member of your club.
Once upon a time I visited your band of comrades. But then, after that, the archives were evidently sealed to non-members. I didn't join up.
As far as I could tell (from my limited observation), there was very little discussion of science going on over there. Ninety percent of the "discourse" was devoted to ridiculing/demonizing "very religious conservatives."
Well, since I am one of those, I didn't see the point of joining up. And still don't.

Why are you willing to tolerate them once they have exposed themselves for what they really are? If you just ignore them, they will go away. They're only here to get a "rise" out of you in the first place. They're hecklers and spoilers, looking for a fight. Like your standard SEIU thug. Deny them that, and they'll get bored soon enough and go away....
