WASHINGTON, Dec. 6 (UPI) -- President Obama prepared to rally Senate Democrats Sunday on a healthcare bill bogged down by abortion, a public option and a Medicare panel, officials said.
Obama was to meet with Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., and other Senators in a rare Sunday session ahead of possible debate Monday on key amendments.
Conservative Sen. Ben Nelson, D-Neb., has threatened to filibuster reform legislation unless it contains restrictions on abortion coverage and the Senate has yet to find common ground on a government-run public option for health insurance.
Also up for discussion is the scope of an independent Medicare Advisory Board, which would have the power to rein in Medicare spending if costs continue to rise after 2014, the Washington Post reported Sunday.

Since you ignored the Tea Parties and the DC 9/12 rally, I assume the only thing that will make an impression is a guaranteed loss of your political career in Washington as of the next election. If you vote for the health care bill, you will be on the “They voted for it” political Hit List.
Thereafter, We the People, will do all in our power to wholeheartedly support whomever runs against you to defeat you in the next election. If you vote for this socialized medicine bill, we will picket, we will go to your rallies with signs that say Never Forget he/she Voted for Socialized Medicine! We will holler, we will generally make a nuisance of ourselves and do everything up to and maybe including civil disobedience. We shall vigorously support your opponent in November 2010, or whenever you are up for reelection. It's your call!

Agree with you. Republicans debating abortion on the Senate floor makes me cringe. A bill without abortion will not make the bill better. And, abortion will somehow be permitted in the final bill.
