Ironically, his victim, Professor Richard Antoun is described as "a caring and gentle man who spent his life trying to dispel stereotypes about different cultures, especially Middle Eastern cultures"
Yet another man-made disaster!
The perp is no “kid” — and given the background of this victim and the killer’s deformed/deranged ideology - it was bound to happen and will happen again and again.

Looks to be in his early 50’s maybe.
Taking out "Amish" leaves "Abdulal Al-Zaran". It is possible.
It may have had to do with his dissertation, although the thing that makes me wonder is the field that he and the professor were in. Possibly a more “philosophical” dispute may have been part of it.
However, I posted yesterday that foreign born Muslims make terrible students. Everyone I have known who has worked with them at the university level says they don’t study and they attempt to intimidate or even bribe professors into giving them good grades; they’re also famous for trying to hire other people else to take their tests. Maybe that’s what higher education is like in their native lands, but it doesn’t work here.
A buddy of mine worked with the oil companies in the ME. There’s an entirely different mindset.
Our view of success is that you work hard, “pull yourself up by your bootstraps,” and build a successful endeavor. To them, success is being the king and sitting on your throne while forcing others to do the work. They view work as something that the suckers do. Most of the oil company contracts with these ME countries involve lots of patronage jobs for family members. The family members don’t do any actual work, but just hang around and collect salaries. Americans come in and do all the actual work, and the patronage jobs are considered by the oil companies as a part of the cost of the contract. They never plan on the ME workers actually doing anything. The ME guys have absolutely no shame about not being able to actually perform any service of value. They consider work to be demeaning.
You’re not the first one to say that about the muslim students.
Makes me more wary of trusting a muslim doctor.

First impression - while I’m sure english is the guy’s 2nd language - that’s no excuse for failing to use spellcheck (especially when you’re attempting to get funding)
2nd - would be interesting to do a side by side comparison of his e-mails with the good Dr. Hasan’s wouldn’t it?

That is why I posted it. We need to be aware that we are living with a fifth column in our country. IN my line of work I see the danger every day.

They do tend to respond to a very authoritarian teaching style. But there is an underlying fear...all the time they are in our classes.

I think I was pretty straightforward. Don’t spend your time trying to dispel stereotypes that are in large measure, true. Anyone who thinks Islam is peaceful or spends time defending supposed misconceptions about them, to be killed by one of those stereotypes, it’s a damn shame. What he didn’t realize is that not being muslim but being an apologist for them, doesn’t get you any special or better treatment, in the end.
So yet another piece of dogcrap muslim kills another book author out of hate. Where is the mainstream media?
