Over a thousand sensitive emails and documents from Britain’s Climatic Research Unit (CRU) at the University of East Anglia were published online in late November without CRU’s permission. Some of their content suggests that the data used to support the theory of human -caused global warming have not been accurately represented.[1]
The leaked emails have surfaced in time for the United Nations summit on climate, set to commence in December. Most of the emails are mundane, but some contain dialogue between scientists about adjusting climate data to support the man-made global warming hypothesis. The university is currently investigating the information leak, but if these communications prove to be legitimate, what other areas of research have also been subject to data tampering? ...

So the science community really isn't a monolithic atheist conspiracy working in unison to undermine God and science or is it only when non-scientists inject themselves into the equation that science gets distorted for partisan purposes?

"What you do, if you are a serious scientist operating according to the established method, is attempt to falsify your hypothesis. Test it to destruction; carry out serious attacks on its weakest points to see if they hold up. If they do -- and the vast majority of hypotheses suffer the indignity embodied in a phrase attributed variously to Thomas Huxley and Lord Kelvin: "a beautiful theory slain by an ugly fact" -- then you have a theory that can be published, and tested, and verified by other scientists. If you don't, you throw it out.
The "scientists" who perpetrated the "global warming" fraud approached their "science" in exactly the opposite manner. They formulated a theory and did whatever they had to do with theuir data to make it true.
Science has taken a massive hit over the past two weeks. It will take years for the discipline to regain any credibility with the public. A lot of that burden must fall on honest scientists, and the first and most important thing they need to do is scream to the heavens for the heads of Michael Mann, Phil Jones, and the rest of the frauds. I guess we'll see....
