Al-Qaeda followers are inside the United States and would like to attack targets here and in other countries, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano said Wednesday night.

Don’t get me started... LOL
What a mess.
Well, he is. He wants more people from Muslim countries admitted legally, and I'm sure he'll get it.
Don’t worry, Janet. Nothing will happen on your watch.
If we take a little stroll through History, the Republicans always get to play Clean-Up after you moronic LibTards encourage the ENEMY for a number of years, because we look WEAK as kittens under your administrations.
And besides, if something DOES happen, you can always blame it on President Bush...or sweep it under the rug if it’s jsut a ‘test run’ such as the FIRST bombing of the Twin Towers on Clinton’s watch...or the assault on our Navy in Yemen, etc.
But, since the populace is SO dumbed down, I’m pretty sure no one will notice, anyway.
*SIGH* We’re so screwed!
When Carter handed off to Reagan, he handed him a pile of woe. Interest rates, unemployment, sagging economy...
It was appropriate to blame him for our ills for a few years. Any problems Bush handed off that are of a similar nature, I think we can agree Bush has some things to answer for.
That being said, Obama has had time to take action. He did take action. It was clearly the wrong action. He’s spending this nation into the poor house to boot. What is taking place now, is more or less Obama’s fault, because proper action being taken, our economy would be rebounding by now. It isn’t. It’s still sinking, despite the B.S. pronouncements by his administration and the MSM.
I can take only so much propaganda. I’m up to here with it right now. This guy is flailing. He hasn’t the slightest idea what to do other than blame somebody else.
Good luck with that. The nation is restless. This guy is too light in the loafers, and everyone, I mean everyone knows it.
The left has saddled themselves with Carter to the X.
Well, if he does we lose. That’s 180 degrees from what our policy should be. I guess that’s redundant, but can you really say it too many times? I think not. LOL
Jeff, what you wrote? “The House of Representatives can make no law which will not have its full operation on themselves and their friends, as well as on the great mass of the society...without which every government degenerates into tyranny. If it be asked, what is to restrain the House of Representatives from making discriminations in favor of themselves and a particular class of the society? I answer: the nature of just and constitutional laws; and above all, the vigilant and manly spirit which actuates the people of America, a spirit which nourishes freedom, and in return is nourished by it.” Federalist Paper No. 57, Alexander Hamilton
Right there wouldn’t that make this health care plan illegal?
*ping* to an interesting thread
It’s only a matter of time when we see a Beslan-style attack on a mall or school. This sh*t is getting out of hand and our “leaders” are doing nothing to stop it.
Are you guys talking about the ATL-HOU/IAH (not sure which on that latter) AirTran flight? Has that been discussed here?
I saw an item about that, and looked for info here at FR, and couldn’t find anything.
It would if it were actually written in law...but it was a part of the Federalist papers where Hamilton and others were explaining things. It’s not written that directly into the constitution. Would that it were because it is obvious that was their intent.
In other news Anderson Cooper has poor ratings and is gay.
Does this really account for news? Like we haven’t known this for how long? Entire camps set up in up state NY and Virginia with no interruption from our government!?!
11) MSNBC
That’s the one. Part of the story can be verified, but the rest is hearsay.
No. See post 49.
I know the Obama Admin has been less than stellar on dealing with Hasan and other threats... but we have to give them some credit for this statement. It is a clear recognition of something that previously has been ignored. Give congrats when it is due. And good for Janet to make this statement. It’s more brave than anything else that has come out of Obama’s people.
“Homeland Security chief warns of threat from al-Qaeda sympathizers in U.S.”
The one in the White House tried putting me on a terrorist watch list.
Like Hasan?
We could not agree more.
should “remove any remaining comfort that some might have had from the notion that if we fight the terrorists abroad, we won’t have to fight them here,” rebutting an argument advanced on several occasions by former president George W. Bush. “
It was a load of hooey then and a load of hooey now. GWB used this mantra as an excuse NOT to secure our borders. Obama’s NOT going to secure them either. Both are to blame in this regard and IMO more attention needs to be focused on this BIPARTISAN effort that may be a CFR agenda. “Think tank” my azz.
LOL! How's that working out?
