GGG rightly points out that the Darwin types and the AGW types do behave and think in a very real parallel to religious thinking, replacing the earth and/or man as the center of things.
CO2 is NOT, never will be, a ‘pollutant’. It is a part of the atmosphere (as designed) and plays it’s part. If you truly felt it was a ‘sin’ to emit CO2, please do your part to personally reduce it.

They just found a mummified hadrosaur and are in the process of going over him with that big MRI machine in LA. That’s not good enough for some reason?

From recollection of the full text showing their methods, they dissolved the fossil...or fragments thereof...in a 0.5M EDTA solution for 7 days to remove the Inorganic mineral content.....leaving soft and pliable soft-tissue structures. The process of using EDTA to demineralize biominerals has been around for 30 years or so.

Except when you find that most scientists aren't atheists or Earth worshippers. Many evolutionists believe they are simply discovering God's wonders. The misquoted evolutionary scientist who was referenced on this board over the "mummified dinosaur skin" is a devout Christian who was pretty disappointed at what fellow Christians were saying about her discovery.

They found the fossil of a mummified hadrosaur. It's stone. Compare that picture of the mammoth to this photo of the hadrosaur's "skin":
Really not the same thing. Why don't we find dinosaurs that look as preserved and lifelike as that mammoth?

This is clearly a debate on church doctrine and not a defense of religious freedom. I also don't see how this posting is not in violation of Jim Robinson's policy. It belongs in the Religion Forum.
Without a good embalmer it wouldn't last 60 years, let alone 6,000 years. What ever external forces preserved it beyond its "shelf life" disrupted any decomposition processes so presumptions have no place in the discussion.
Black clays (AKA adobe) do not smell like H2S, its a sour odor, somewhat like fermentation, but totally anerobic, and disgusdting. The first time I encountered it I thought that we had found somebody’s septic tank.
Perhaps hot water is a good embalmer. We find mammoth carcases with considerable skin intact often, in deep cuts in soft sandstone, near Antioch and Brentwood, and once in Blackhawk (Danville). Its always the same kind of formation. The skin will be like hard rawhide, crumbly, with sparse dark brown to almost black hair.

The important fact here is that Dinosaur soft tissue was NOT found, fossilized evidence of dinosaur soft tissue was what was found. Referring to it as soft tissue is either an act of ignorance or a deliberate attempt to deceive.
My point was that that any discussions about the viability of soft tissue lasting 6,000 or 60 million years is equally preposterous unless preserved by some extraordinary conditions or processes like anaerobic encapsulation or freezing.
It is you that are deceiving.
It clearly was soft tissue. All you ever do is post twisted versions of the facts. If you don’t like it, find another thread.
