I like Huckabee, but his national political career is toast. I wouldn’t vote for him knowing the amount of clemencies he granted.

Not a Huckabee supporter and he had already said he might not run before this.

He granted clemency after presented by parole board....that is on his watch no doubt. he did not seek clemency for the guy like some governors have...just a note.

But what is unmentioned here is that the guy then violated his clemency probation multiple times and the prosecutors failed to act on it at all.

There is a point to his responsibilty for signing off in the first place but he did have reasonable assurance that the prosecutors would do their job which they did not.

Personally i don’t think the guy had served near enough to get a life sentence waiver.

Schmuckabee would have been more than a distraction.

He is the type that would pro-actively disrupt and block great Americans from getting a chance to actually lead the Republic.

Great Americans like Sarah Palin would have been stabbed in the back constantly by a jerk like Schmuckabee.

Personally I am very glad Huck is out of Sarah’s way but the Huck bashing here often has tones that as a southerner I see too often here...same old Yankee snottiness.

So back at any of you hick baiters.

Someone on Hot Air put it best:

Mike Pass the Buck-A-Bee.

Meantime, Palin made it harder to parole the Manson crowd in Alaska while she was governor.

Best,

Chris

In 1989, Clemmons, then 17, was convicted in Little Rock for aggravated robbery. He was paroled in 2000 after Huckabee commuted Clemmons' 95-year prison sentence. Huckabee, who was criticized during his run for the Republican presidential nomination in 2008 for the number of clemencies and commutations he granted, cited Clemmons' age at the time of the sentence.

"Back then, Gov. Huckabee granted clemency to a disturbing number of people, including a man named Maurice Clemmons who should have never been left out," said Larry Jegley, prosecuting attorney for Arkansas' Pulaski County.

'Nuff said.

I hope he doesn't run for president he will just take votes away from Sarah Palin the one that can win in 2012..I never would have voted for Huckabee anyway..I do hope the people of Iowa should read this about him letting this criminal out of jail..

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family's of the police officers..I hope this loon is dead when they find him because then we won't have to spent millions of dollars on a worthless piece of garbages trial..

FoxNews Alert:

Just reporting that suspect Clemmons is NOT in the house that the police had surrounded.

At least 2 other people helped Clemmons in getting from the coffee shop to this house.

Police are unsure how he evaded them, as they thought he was in the house. They do believe he is wounded, but he has not sought any medical attention at local emergency rooms.

Maybe he can borrow one of Obambi’s excuses, like how he was only a kid when Bill Ayers was making and planting bombs and organizing violent riots.

Or maybe one of the ones BO used to declare how the Ft. Hood massacre was not a reflection on any of his politically correct policies with regards to national security and possible jihadist threats.

I thought he was freed due to being a black juvenile whose crime was so horrendous that he'd received a life sentence, and that Reverand Mike was all concerned about Christian forgiveness, or something.

And now four families are in mourning...

The perp was supposed to serve a 60 year sentence. If it weren’t for that idiot Huckabee commuting his sentence those cops would be alive today.

Your logic is irrefutable. I can't wait to see Huck's fans try to spin this one.

Seriously, you should watch it a few times.

Why?

Because it really proves the Narcissists simply are living in an alternate reality.

This dude Huckabee, ya know whadddee does?? He schedules country rock bands, and then struts up on stage to play guitar with them, just as though he's a "Real.Band.Member."

It is just sooooo pathetic.

Meantime, after these decidedly UN-presidential moves, the idiot actually truly factually believes that he stands a chance for becoming president of the USA.

The reason he got votes last time was because of McCain VS. Romney --- they were both so utterly putrid that people gave a vote to Mike Huckabee, in utter DISGUST.

One of the ways the RomneyBots attacked those who were not going to vote for RINO Romney was to accuse them of “going over to the dark side” and planning to vote for Huckabee...

Apparantly the RomneyBots thought the worse thing that could be said of the “anti-Romneys” was to say they were for Huckabee...

Most werent but the RomneyBots argued they were anyway..

The way I heard it was that Huck commuted this scumbag’s 60-yr sentence.

In addition, they were saying in regard to his time in the state of Washington that he was known to have delusions about cops always following him...in other words, cops were always in his head even if the cops weren’t doing anything to him at the time. So they were saying his mental health was actually a problem, not only his criminality.

Yet, he was out on bail in Washington.

Many people screwed up.

It ALL STARTED WITH HUCK commuting his 60-yr sentence!

When I heard this, I knew Huck’s political career was DEAD.
