I understand most Palin supporters have already handed her the '12 nomination, but a primary can be unpredictable and bruising. My question is, what will you do if for some reason Sarah does not win the '12 pub nomination? Stay home, vote 3rd party or support the nominee (if it is one of todays potential but established candidates)?
This is a "what if" question. If you don't have the capacity to contemplate a Palin primary loss then please find another thread on which to slobber and slander (although I seriously doubt this request will be honored).
However, it would be a very cold day in another world before I would knowingly subject my children to the likes of the press they received last time around.
And believe me, I will never listen to anyone with the last name of "McCain" after the reaction they didn't have to that vile onslaught -- what a bunch of ...neverminds....
Lame, comeback. You need to get over your hate of Palin. It is unhealthy.
if she runs and is not anointed by the republican elite, I’ll write her in. No more RINOS!
I read your posts and didn’t see you name your preferred candidate by name. You did mention Pawlenty and Jindal...is it one of those two?
Yes I have a problem with that and so would the Founders of this country. In my opinion the singular focus of anyone who believes in the principles this country was founded on should be the removal of Obama from office.
Any other course of action implicity underestimates the damage Obama can and will do to this country.
I will close my wallet and forget about politics until the general election.
Bob, you'll have to forgive me for asking; I've been away from FR until just recently. Who is your preferred candidate?
This is all mental masterbation.
We have very difficult tasks to accomplish long before the 2012 General.
Let’s get Socialized Healthcare and Reps like Alan Greyson defeated before we worrk about 2012.

Ditto, SB.
I believe that Sarah would still attempt to influence the party platform in a Reaganesque direction. The question is not fully answerable without knowing who else has won the nomination.
It would take a pretty horrible GOP personage, however, to lose the general election to Obama. After four years of Obama, America will be ready to elect a ham sandwich to the White House in place of Obama.
Your Romney comment is spot on. Thank you.
Great answer to a fully loaded question SB. This is still 2009 and I agree.
A baby being murdered every 24 seconds, federal debt in the trillions and a federal government that is completely out of control.
So far your answer is the one I’d go with as well.
I will hope that the winning candidate is even better, and that Sarah (assuming no intervening scandal) gets the VP slot.
I’ve not seen a better potential candidate so far though! :-)
Why would any of us want to think about that right now? Sheesh, Bob. Post another topic.
Hillary might if his record remains as terrible as it has been. These people want to stay in power and a tanking Obama they are not going to let take them down with him. They’ll save their own asses before going down with the SS Obama.
Just make sure it’s not Obama’s hand under the Kermit the Frog muppet...
