Free Republic does not and will not support RINOS!! Not now!! Not ever!!
My day after Thanksgiving message | 11/26/200 | Jim Robinson

Posted on 11/26/2009 9:55:25 PM PST by Jim Robinson

Apparently there are still some posters on FR who are fast asleep. Wake up! Dammit! We are in the middle of a conservative rebellion! While you were sleeping we, along with millions of other freedom loving grassroots Americans have participated in hundreds of tea parties all across this great land and fully intend to keep it up until all of America is awake. We are fed up and mad as hell! We grassroots Americans are delivering a message to the ruling class: NO MORE!!

No more big government! No more high taxes! No more government bailouts! No more government takeovers! No government healthcare! No more corruption! No more global baloneyism!!

We're sick and tired of liberals and RINOs running roughshod over our God given Liberty!

We want our country back! We want our freedom back! We want it all back!!

No more socialism!!

Cut the taxes! Cut the spending! Cut the government!

Restore the constitutional limits on government! Restore our freedom!!

And not only no, but HELL NO to liberals and RINOS!!

Free Republic will not support RINOS!! Rudy McRomney, et al, can go straight to hell!!

The strategy is we win, they lose.

Any questions?

Amen.

Time to go for the brass ring folks. It will only be within our reach once, and for a short time. This is a moment in history. How will it read to our grandchildren?

History is written by the victors. If it says that we were dangerous extremists that had to be put down, then we will not have done our duty to our descendants.

Obviously, you sense that you're gonna need 'em all.

Chuckie "look there's a camera" Schumer? Is that you? Some people love the attention. Even if it's negative.

I missed it too. I noticed that I hadn’t seen her post in awhile and checked. Blue page.

The antics of the Mittbots brought two things in to perspective for me. First that Mitt has serious POLITICAL issues for Conservatives. Second was the number of his supporters that were using the same basic strategies and a uniform method that I have never seen before that lead me to realize that those particular posters were his religious peers. That in turn lead me to looking into the LDS faith and find them using the same patterns used in the “defense” of their faith in the form of a business here on FR.

I find promoting a religious peer despite their obvious and unacceptable shortcomings as it pertains to the very principles you supposedly espouse to be no more attractive from the LDS than it would be from the Evangelical Huckabots.

But it became abundantly clear that the LDS have much more practice in the arena of “selling”.

One last little irony. I found the most disgusting and vile personal attacks on other Conservative candidates and their supporters, especially FDT, to come from the supposedly saintly LDS posters. Even more ironic several of them we ones that often post how wonderful they and their faith are on religious threads as well as being the first to yell Bigot and throw the victim card if their guy was even looked at wrong.

I support that post word for word, those Romney threads of 2007 changed me as a freeper, when you challenged Romney back then, you either got hard and thick skinned or the Mittbots and LDS would devour you and send you packing. Many of those guys were pros and powerful devotees that had been brought in to join FR, you could often see them sign up in small waves, and brother let me tell you, underneath that warm image are people that turn almost demonic when challenged deeply.

It was on those threads that for the first time in my life that I saw the Bible casually dismissed for being an invalid source for Christian evidence when it disagreed with another book written by a guy in the cowboy days, I was amazed to see the same posters make the same claims over and over about Mitt Romney’s record or actions even though they were shown the actual videos and documents of him doing the opposite, no reason or evidence could penetrate their talking points mantra, they simply ignored it and chanted their sales pitch again.

The old Romney threads were a journey into some kind of cult like madness, we still see a little of that now and I assume that it will return in full force at some point close to the 2012 primaries.

The most dangerous place to be in America is between a camera and Chuckie Schumer.

Why do you want us to be just like WAnkerville?

WA has been defunct for several months. They may have resurfaced under a new name, but I'm not aware of that.

Would my advocacy of that position have been welcomed on FR?

At the times you mentioned, probably not. :-) But these times are different. The nation has degraded too far, and the type of focus which is required to bring it back around requires a different tactic. A lot of people would have been criticized then who are NOT criticized now. I "think" you're one of these people, which under present circumstances is not a bad thing!

Obviously, you sense that you're gonna need 'em all.

Your sense would be WRONG, though that's really not a surprise given everything else you've expressed on this thread.

I didn't know that. I do know that some of the original WAnkers tried to stage a coup back in the early days and would up leaving to start some other big tent RINOville, but I'm not sure what happened after that.

I see similar behavior from truck drivers when they decide to ignore a sign that says ‘no trucks’.
It’s amazing, and sickening as well.

Conservatism is by definition normal thinking and normal living. Everything else, in one form or another, is just made-up lies.

No, it isn’t. Not if you have an objective bone in your body.
And the others?
You said ONE. I gave you several, and there’s lots more where they came from.

Too bad California has gone so strange. It has so much natural beauty.

I'm a native Californian, born in Monterey, one of the most beautiful areas of the state. I moved to Texas four years ago.

I know what you mean about the fact that such an incredibly beautiful place has been so screwed up, socially and politically. It breaks my heart.

In time, the lunatics are going to cause California to completely collapse. Unfortunately, that is what needs to happen to yank the residents out of their dream state, and back into some semblance of reality.

Once Californians have endured the total implosion of their state apparatus and their economy, adults with level heads, good conservative ideas, and steely resolve, will emerge to put that state back on a track to its former greatness.

Judging from the sheer amount of trolls the Undead Threaders and I have seen saying the albatross line of “FR killed my free speech”, too many people completely FAIL the ‘private property’ test.
(A conservative plank by the way, Private property.. Which seems to be lacking among RINOs.)

Romney isn’t conservative enough for a solid conservative website freerepublic, but he is within the bounds of the Republican party (which, as we all know all too well, is not simply the “conservative party”).

No he is not in the bounds of the republican party, that is why after 17 years of campaigning and spending fortunes, including at least 60 million dollars of his own, the man still can not gain real traction among the GOP.

Why are you rino types always attacking freerepublic as being fringe people when we don't support your rino candidates, I guess the enemies of conservatism share a world view and a common enemy list.

By the way, when you make that kind of claim which is a basic part of your politics, you prove that you are here to move this site a little to the left.
