Apparently there are still some posters on FR who are fast asleep. Wake up! Dammit! We are in the middle of a conservative rebellion! While you were sleeping we, along with millions of other freedom loving grassroots Americans have participated in hundreds of tea parties all across this great land and fully intend to keep it up until all of America is awake. We are fed up and mad as hell! We grassroots Americans are delivering a message to the ruling class: NO MORE!!
No more big government! No more high taxes! No more government bailouts! No more government takeovers! No government healthcare! No more corruption! No more global baloneyism!!
We're sick and tired of liberals and RINOs running roughshod over our God given Liberty!
We want our country back! We want our freedom back! We want it all back!!
No more socialism!!
Cut the taxes! Cut the spending! Cut the government!
Restore the constitutional limits on government! Restore our freedom!!
And not only no, but HELL NO to liberals and RINOS!!

Her political battles have literally been "in the dumps". When in Wasilla council, she went against the local trash king. Her background is LOCAL and state goverment. She had to keep the roads clear, and the pot holes filled. In the end, Tip O'Neill said it right, "all politics is local".
She will be looking to downsize the creation of the DC and decentralize it, IMO. Schools are a local problem, as are those things noted. She is speaking of her actual feet-on-the-ground (and in the Co-pilots seat) experience, not platitudes with gilt edges.
I pray they disband all the spurious Departments except the Was Department. UPS and FedEx can bid on the mail delivery! We can hire those gum't suckers to replace the Mexicans for casual labor. They're not good for much else (ducking)!
Does anyone believe that our founding fathers consisted, in part, of men who promoted appeasement with Great Britain? Then, why should we accept candidates who are willing to work with and appease Democrats and socialists?
I’ve voted my last straight-party ticket (I did so very grudgingly...); until I know that party stands uniformly behind the principles I espouse.
All power derives from the people.
We are a nation of laws.
Private enterprise. Government out of the way unless absolutely necessary such as transportation laws and such.
The Constitution trumps all federal law.
The states have all governmental power not enumerated in the Constitution.
All federal and state programs passed into law that do not meet Constitutional qualification will be disbanded.
Term limits.
Representatives will, during each session, take time to meet publicly with their constituents to discuss the business of the day.
The control of our schools will be turned back over to our communities, and the NEA will be voted out of favor.
American History will again be taught in our schools, with proper emphasis given to how this great country developed, and how it is the beacon of freedom across the World.

If you’re here illegally, get out or we’ll throw you out. And don’t even think of committing a crime while here.

well...maybe the SHOULD KNOW BETTER, but I am a reformed liberal...in the likes of David Horowitz.That happened many years ago for me, but I was an adult whose values were solid on anti abortion and pro military hawk and pro God.
I still think we are also educational and if we want to bring those who are basically in the ballpark but need the updates. Freeper is a way to SHARE our wealth of information.As the site becomes more and more talked about, more “Libs’ will come on to lurk.
