Okay you red-blooded Americans...let's see how you do on this test... 24 out of 30 is considered a passing grade.
Supposedly 96% of all high school Seniors FAILED this test. AND if that's not bad enough, 50% + of all individuals over 50 did too!!
Take the test and be surprised at what we don't know.

I found a fun QUIZ on introductory level United States History. Don't take it too seriously. It contains 30 multiple choice questions with 4 choices for each one. If you are as old as I am (Born in 1948)or older , went to school back when they taught U.S. History, and still have possesion of most of your faculties, you will do well.
OK I see what I did wrong, I didn’t have cookies enabled.
I got 24..amendments ones mostly, wrong.
If you took a look at the scores by age..these young kids do very poorly with this.
I think those of us schooled in the 50s and 60s, come out way ahead in this.
Missed one—number of unratified amendments.
26 — similar complaint on the darned amendments. On the plus side, at age 67, I approached this as an Altzheimers test and figure I passed.
I missed 2, I thought G.W. Bush was born in Texas! and the # of amendments not ratified. :( What does missing 2 mean?
Your Score is 27
Congratz, you Pass! You should be proud.
27 of 30. Missed three of the amendment questions, some of which were pretty obscure and of debatable importance.
I got 29 out of 30 right. I missed the one about the number of unratified amendments.
The fact that all of the ones taking the test so far did well proves that once you knew the subject cold and now with the passage of time you needed the choices to help get the answer.
Remember, there is difference between:
Once I knew the answer to that question without help( entitles me to be a responsible member of a civilized society and a FREEPERS)
WTF!!I never knew that subject and never cared anyway(entitles me to get free stuff from FREEPERS)
Life is grand!

27 right. Apparently I know nothing about Amendments...
Oops, actually missed 3! Can’t count either!! :)
Same here.
28/30
How many amendments and when was the last ratified were the two that got me.
We don’t use the Constitution any longer... so I guess I should get a pass.
29/30... missed the an easy one about when the last amendment was ratified. Duh, 1992!
English should be the "official language" and who cares that Eisenhower was born in Texas. As far as the amendments ... my bad. LOL
actually I’m looking forward to retirement in a year or so - sooner if I have my way;-)
I got a 24. Yikes, those amendment questions . . .
I live in Fort Worth so that one was easy. Dennison is just a couple of hours away.
I’m not the type to get them all correct except 2 but I got a 28.
